Highlights
Visit Giant’s Causeway from Belfast with round-trip transport
Guide relays interesting historical tidbits along the way
See parts of Northern Ireland you may not access otherwise
Go to Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Old Bushmills Distillery en route
What to expect
Your Giant’s Causeway tour starts with a hotel pickup in Belfast. Board your air-conditioned coach bus, and get ready for your first stop at Giant's Causeway. At the UNESCO World Heritage Site, your guide tells you cool local legends about the site as you climb the rocks on the coast. You get enough time at the Giant’s Causeway without feeling rushed. Then visit Carrickfergus Castle, a Norman fortress, and drive the scenic Antrim Road. Next up is Old Bushmills Distillery, which is super popular for its Irish whiskeys. You can enjoy lunch here (own expense), and wander the gift shop to see if you’d like to pick up any souvenirs (own expense). Last up on the day’s agenda is Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Once you arrive at the bridge, pay your entrance fee (own expense), and stand in a short line to get your chance to cross the 65-foot-long (20-meter-long) bridge. Your tour ends with a drop-off back in Belfast city center.

Amazing trip- an absolute must do!
Dec 2020 • Friends
This trip was booked last minute as we arrived the day the country emerged out of a national Lockdown and we were due to visit the titanic museum which remained closed. I’m so pleased we were able to come on this trip however as it was the highlight of the stay! Our driver Derek was wonderful and had us all in stitches with his witty sarcasm and groaning with his bad jokes! He had a tough crowd however and kept it up which provided a great atmosphere (with help from Burnley!)

The sights on the sites were absolutely amazing and the beauty was breathtaking- we were able to see some game of thrones filming locations as well as the giants causeway and learnt so much about this beautiful county and it’s history. The pre ordered lunch at a local restaurant was an excellent plan and ensured the trip ran smoothly. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone- excellent value for money! Thank you again Derek!

Amazing trip with absolutely breathtaking scenic views! Everything about the trip was absolutely perfect, from check in to drop off. Derek the driver was super friendly, knowledgeable, and kept us all well entertained throughout the trip. Would 1000% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belfast. Hands down the highlight of my entire Belfast trip!

Nice tour - Pity not adhering to Covid guidelines
Oct 2020
We booked on this trip with 48 hr to go as with a further lockdown being threatened we were unsure we would get away. Anyway it did, and trip itself was nice and the driver was very friendly and some lovely villages seen along the way.

I have only given 3 stars as we were given information on the wearing of masks prior to the trip, as a NHS key worker thought great. As the last couple of our party of 13 boarded the small mini-bus and asked if they needed to wear mask, the driver said it is at your discretion.

Myself and my husband were only 2 out of 13 to wear the mask - normally I would have said something but I was unsure how this would have gone down, so Im afraid to say I said nothing.

Awesome daytrip to Giant’s Causeway
Oct 2020 • Friends
The whole day was fun and informative. Would suit all ages. Derek the driver had so much information about the history of the area, and some perfectly timed “coach jokes”. He really did make the day special for everyone and added his personality and sense of humour. We had so much packed in for such a reasonable cost. Would happily do the day all over again for twice the price! If you come to Northern Ireland you must NOT miss this day trip.

Fantastic tour guide and incredible value for money
Sep 2020
This was a really great tour. Our tour guide Derrick was wonderful, with a great balance of informative and humorous commentary - and breaks for us to just enjoy the passing scenery. We visited lots of beautiful places in addition to the Giant's Causeway, so it's really excellent value for money. We had brought our own lunch but this wasn't a problem when the rest of the group had their lunch at the pub. There's quite a bit of walking so be prepared for a long, tiring day, but it's absolutely worth it.

Go on this tour!!
Sep 2020
This was an excellent day out! Our tour guide was Derek who was both very entertaining and knowledgable. Due to COVID our tour was a combined Giant's Causeway and Game of Thrones tour which was a huge plus for us! Derek was obviously a fan of the show which made the tour all the more engaging. Unfortunately when we went to the Carrick-O-Rede rope bridge it was closed (and will be for four months) for improvements, Derek took us to another Game of Thrones location instead which was very good. We were disappointed not to be able to go on the rope bridge but were happy with the replacement location. We were also happy with the COVID measures put in place by the company and never felt uncomfortable in that regard. Would highly recommend this tour and Derek as a tour guide.

Incredible day trip - one of our favourite days in Belfast
Sep 2020 • Couples
The whole tour was amazing - Derek our driver was so informative and made the trip so fun! Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to see more of the Irish countryside. The drive up the Antrim coast is incredible - honestly breathtaking! The coach is very comfortable and along the way Derek provided us with useful tips for each of the stops to make sure we could make the most of our time at each! Lunch at the Fullerton Arms was delicious and definitely worth it! Could not recommend this tour and the company more.
