Customers are scumAfter a very long and hard day lasting 18 hours arrived at BIA at 8.40pm and through the maze at security set up as if 500 people were waiting, we had 1 person ahead of us. Through reasonably slowly but of the three people ( we were 2 of them) 2 bags checked to relieve the staffs boredom. Got to the restaurant ready for a well-deserved meal and long awaited meal . 8.52PM Burgerking closed despite 6 people in the queue. Off to the restaurant next door 8.57 - restaurant kitchen closed. 6 people behind me, including families with children, all dismayed. The last flight out was scheduled at 23.50. Airports want you there 2 / 3 hours in advance to bleed you dry and then don't even bother to provide any hot food. You can get drunk and end up in the tabloids but Belfast Intl won't bat an eyelid. Incidentally a pint of Heineken and.a.fanta was about to cost me £21 + until I noticed the card machine. "Oops, out mistake" no apologies even when extorting the correct sum of over £11 . I don't expect BIA to take any notice but given a choice please use another Airport.... any just not one that doesn't give a stuff for their passengersWritten 26 September 2024
- davenjacqui0 contributionsAbsolute Shambles of an AirportThis is a little airport trying very hard to be big, but failing miserably. On our flight out, the ques for security were huge. Our flight was at 6am and 15 minutes either side of ours was another 4 flights. With 9 flights within half an hour, no wonder chaos reigned. On our arrival back, we were again one plane in a bunch of 6 arriving one after another. Going through customs was a nightmare with everyone having to use the 5 automatic security gates, 2 of which weren't working. An absolute shambles. The truth is, they want to fleece you for every penny they can get, and treat you like cattle for the privilege. Doubt I will use this dump again.Written 22 September 2024

Car was clean with plenty of room for the 5 of us and our luggage. We were delivered to the door of our hotel very efficiently. Friendly and professional service.Written 24 August 2024

We arrived in Southampton from our cruise searching to find our driver only to discover, after checking my email, they canceled that morning! I sent them all the information they requested along with the time we would be docking, how many pieces of luggage, etc. When I called Viator they said yes, the company canceled and we would be getting a full refund! I didn't want a refund, I wanted a ride!! Of course, no one could do anything so we ended up getting a taxi which was not an easy thing to do with 6 people!! - Maps054515763210 contributionsThe King of AirportsTo be honest, until now I hated airport experiences, in my opinion most airport staff are usually a bit up themselves. Not the case at Aberdeen airport. From the staff at baggage drop, security to the shop staff, without exception we’re all friendly and super helpful. A great example of how airports in an ideal world should be. I was travelling alone and it was the only enjoyable airport experience I have ever had. Great shops, eateries and super clean. Airport staff in other airports should use this airport staff attitude as a great example.Written 31 October 2022
