Very friendly and helpful. I did the Champagne experience for my birthday, Modesta was my guide. She did a wonderful presentation! Extremely friendly. I was nervous and she made me feel safe. The capsule did not rock back and forth (I was so nervous that it would), I thought 30 minutes would feel like a life time- time flew by and I did not want the experience to end. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Spectacular ride that offers an incredible view of the whole city. The cabins are air-conditioned and soundproofed, I recommend going there at sunset, when the buildings gradually light up and Big Ben soars over the city. Fast track booking is strongly recommended, because the booked time does not correspond to the actual climb on the wheel, but only to the admission to the line, which could be very long...

The London Eye offers breathtaking views of the city, especially at sunset. The slow rotation gives plenty of time to take in landmarks like Big Ben, the Shard, and the Thames. However, the lines can be very long, especially during peak hours, so it’s best to book in advance or opt for fast track. The experience is a bit pricey for what it is, but the views are definitely worth it if you’re visiting London for the first time.

Unique and unmissable experience. The view over the entire city is beautiful at any time of day. I have taken a tour at various times of the day during many years of visits to the city, I recommend the moment of sunset (priceless) but also the moment when there is full light so as to be able to extend the view over the entire city.
I spent €38 per person, although it is a significant sum it must be done.
The lines are a bit long.
I absolutely recommend.

We were gifted the trip on the eye as a Xmas present. We were in London on 28th Dec and booked the 4.15 time slot. We arrived at 3pm to see where we had to queue etc - we asked one of the guides. He told us we had to join the queue at 4.15 - this was across the way from the eye and a snake queue that went on and on past the gift shop. Then when you moved across to the eye a further snake queue. Then the guy said the queue would take about 45 minutes. I would have guessed more tbh. So we had mistakenly thought we would get on at 4.15 turns out it would be more like 5pm or more. We decided we would get a fast track ticket for £15 each instead. We went into the ticket office- the machines were tricky to navigate so we asked the customer service who was able to move our time slot forward to 3.30 and the queue was only 10 deep. We were in the capsule with 15 minutes. After such a manic start - there was a ridiculous amount of people on the embankment that afternoon - the eye was calm and serene. We enjoyed the experience although at the top ( the foggy weekend) there was little to see but as you went up/down the views were good. It was also good going up in the last of daylight and to also see the dark/ night lights. Remember the time slot is to join the queue NOT get on the eye !!! Be warned!!

My friend and I booked tickets as part of a duel ticket with Madame Tussauds. Our tickets were booked for 5pm (enough time for us to get our 6:30pm train home), and arrived at 4:30pm to queue (it states on the tickets to allow 15mins of queue time). First we couldn't find where we had to queue so asked a staff member who seemed so unhappy in her job when she barked at us to walk to the line which was right back to the main road. We stood in this queue until 4:55pm and decided that we weren't going to make out 5pm booking and at this rate would still be lining up come 6:30pm when we needed to get our train.
We went to the customer service desk and the guy advised they can't give a refund, there is no way they can give a timescale for how long you will be queuing and that the time you book is literally a guide time. I have emailed the customer service email to be told again no refund can be given and that the tickets and be used within a 6 month time frame. This is all well and good as long as you are planning to visit again.

Thanks for the review. When purchasing tickets you are requested to select a time to join the queue- our queues can vary depending on the day especially during our peak seasons like school holidays and weekends.

I hope this message reaches you with the urgency and concern it deserves. My wife and I recently visited your attraction with our three young daughters, and I regret to inform you that our experience left us profoundly disappointed—not with the attraction itself, but rather with your policies.
To make our trip to London with our daughters truly memorable, we had booked five tickets for the London Eye on December 28th. Given our tight schedule with only three nights in London, we meticulously planned our itinerary, including a visit to your attraction scheduled for 4:00 PM. Arriving at 3:30 PM, we were directed to the back of an extensive queue by your staff, despite having pre-booked tickets for the specified time slot.
We explained that we had reservations for 4:00 PM, but to no avail; we were instructed to join the end of the line. While I understand the concept of waiting patiently, the queue was so extensive that it jeopardized our subsequent plans. Attempting to seek assistance at the service desk proved futile, as an overwhelming line awaited us there as well. With only two staff members present, we had no choice but to forgo the attraction.
Subsequently, we contacted Booking.com, requesting a refund for the considerable amount we had paid in advance, considering we never utilized the tickets, nor were they scanned. However, after a week, we received a response stating that a refund was not possible due to your company's policies. This revelation has left me profoundly disappointed and appalled at your actions.
I don't mind waiting for an experience, even if it exceeds an hour and a half, especially during the holiday season when I understand things can get hectic. However, I am perplexed as to why you sell tickets for specific time slots if guests are required to join a lengthy queue regardless. This crucial information should be communicated upfront during the sales process. Had we been aware, we could have adjusted our plans accordingly.
What troubles me even more is that, after explaining our situation, we received a flat refusal for a refund, creating an impression akin to deception. We did not utilize your attraction, nor did we occupy space that could have been used by others. Retaining our money under these circumstances is, in my opinion, truly scandalous and has left me with a deeply unsettling feeling.
I urge you to reconsider your policies and ensure that future visitors are provided with accurate information about the queuing process. It is disheartening to have invested a significant amount of money for an experience that we were unable to enjoy.

Hi there,
Thanks for leaving a review about your trip to the lastminute.com London Eye.
Thanks for sharing your review. I’m sorry the queue affected your London Eye experience. We always try to keep queues moving as quickly as possible, even when we’re really busy.
During peak times (like school holidays) it can take around 45 - 50 minutes to get up in the air. The wait is always worth it when you see the views, we promise!

Visited here with the family for the first time. Booked various attraction tickets and the London Eye was a 4pm booking. We started queuing at 3:10pm after being told the queue was 45 minutes. After 20 minutes of queuing we were asked to leave the queue as the time booked is the time you should start queuing, not the time of the attraction itself. I made the staff lady aware we would miss our train but this didn't matter. I refused to leave and decided to amend my booking online, she then started to say we must step aside and let other people pass. 20 seconds later I amended the booking and stayed put, something she didn't like. Ultimately the queue was 1 hour 30 minutes, anyone visiting keep this in mind! First thing was clear, about 11ish it really starts building and gets worse in the afternoon. Security were a bit abrupt and rude also, I know they need to scan you and check you, even children, but seriously, smile and be polite, no need for being rude. We visited the dungeons and sea life, same process but amazing friendly experience. So in my opinion, London Eye should be the same but it looks like the staff must really hate their job. The ride itself is good as expected, shame about the lead up to it.

Tickets reserved for 10:15. We got into the (small) queue at 10:05 a.m. without any worries and we did not wait before climbing into our bubble.
Not too many people in the cabin: you can see and take pictures without being embarrassed. Nevertheless it remains expensive for a family of 4 and we finally preferred the mini cruise on the Thames to Greenwich.

We booked the London Eye online with 2 for 1 vouchers. Depending on what time slot you choose the prices may differ. The time slot given is the time you get to start queuing not when you will get on the Eye. There was a big queue for our time slot but it was moving fast. We got our official photo taken but when we looked at it at the end it was rubbish, not even focused properly so we didn't buy it. I've been on the London eye before and I'm sure you used to view a film before hand but there was none of that this time. Inside the reception / toilet building there are photos of the construction etc so we enjoyed looking at those. Security is quite tight so they may want to check your back or scan you. They also check the pod before and after. There was about 16 people in our pod so it wasn't too cramped. It did keep stopping intermittently but as you can hardly feel you're moving anyway it didn't seem to matter. I think the pods are air conditioned as it was nice and cool in them. There is a central seat in the pod if you want to sit. There is a small amount of commentary when you are in the pod but I think they could do better and add more. The views from the pod are amazing. We had a good time on the London Eye.

Hi there,
Thanks for leaving a review about your trip to the lastminute.com London Eye.
I’m sorry to hear your wait to get up in the sky was longer than expected. We’re the most popular paid attraction in London, so sometimes there are lots and lots of people waiting to take flight at the same time.
But we do try very hard to stagger time slots and keep waiting times as short as possible.

An unmissable attraction in London, always crowded but worthy of... a tour!
I recommend taking advantage of the 2x1 offer, because the cost of the ticket is certainly not cheap (like everything in London).
It allows for a wonderful view of the city, preferably in the evening hours or at dusk.

Hello. Im arriving in London at st Pancras on Saturday 14th may ,at 11.45am, what time would you suggest booking a slot for? Also we need to be at the Adelphi theatre for a 2.30 show..
main worry is would this be doable in realistically 2 hrs from arriving in London to being at the theatre for 2.30pm
Thank you in advance.
Written 9 May 2022
Quite tight for time! I’m guessing you will use the tube to travel through london? If so 12:30 should give you enough time as the eye itself takes about 30/40 mins ride time and a further 20/30 mins queue.
Hope this helps
