    Lovely ride on Thames
Jordan was an amazing tour guide. He kept us entertained and well informed for our ride. The ride itself was lovely and smooth. We had ample opportunities for the pictures.

A bit overpriced but we all enjoyed it
Despite the expensive price, we enjoyed the activity. The capsule is not overcrowded and AC works well. Our teenagers enjoyed it.

    Excellent views, incredible service
I visited with my partner, who uses a wheelchair, and we were delighted by the ease and care with which the staff handled a guest with mobility issues. The views were astonishing- London at night is a feast for the eyes- and the champagne delicious, but the highlight was the caring and attentive staff. Patricia(? I think? I'm terrible with names, she ran the 18.30 champagne experience on the 17th Feb) was competent, knowledgable, and a charming and delightful hostess. She made time for a little personal conversation with each guest and made us feel quite at home at the top of London. An excellent experience. We'd go again in a heartbeat.

    Very much Worth fast track!
Enjoy the view! It was worth to take the fast track as the lines were very long we had to wait no more than 10minutes before we were in the capsule

    Night views
Staff were amazing. It’s been a long time since we’ve done evening flight. We had a pod to ourselves as it was one of the last slots of the night. Everyone wished Dyl happy birthday. Views are stunning at night. I think I prefer them.

    Ask for Charlie
Recently splurged with my girlfriend on a trip around the London Eye. We decided to take it one step further and book a champagne experience which is where we met Charlie. Charlie was polite and professional; he answered all our questions in great detail. Charlie was a genuine pleasure to have with us. Highly recommend! Thank you Charlie!

London Eye was great, Charlie was better
My boyfriend and I recently went on the London Eye and opted for the champagne experience because, YOLO. The travel gods were upon us as 1. We just did a walk up ticket and there was availability, 2. We were told that there would be no other customers but us in our pod, and 3. We were assigned Charlie to be our sommelier/host. The views were great, I’m slightly scared of heights and didn’t have any issues. Back to Charlie- he was incredible. So polite and kind and conversational: we found that we were chatting him up more than checking out the views! He took so many pictures of us, pointed out lots of different sights, and was just truly the highlight of our experience. Charlie- if you’re reading this: THANK YOU!

    London Eye
We done the Champagne Experience today and it was led by Patricia! She was fantastic and so knowledgeable on London whereabouts and history! She also gave us some good advice on food/drink places! Our only downfall was we felt it was slightly overpriced £67 pp that includes one glass of champagne and once round the Eye.

If you like endless queuing this is the attraction for you
I gave this 3 stars because once you get past the queue it is a good experience. I was going to give 1, or zero if I could, just due to the queue situation, it’s terrible. I booked for 11:15, now when booking it did say that this would be the time to enter the queue not get on the eye and that in busy periods the queue could be as long as 45 mins. Given this was a weekday in February I didn’t expect this to class as a busy period. However it was busy and we queued for well over an hour!!! We had dinner booked at 2pm and we started to worry that we wouldn’t make it. The queue arrangement really needs to be sorted out.

Great way to entertain yourself and have pretty views of the city that you wouldn’t get otherwise!
Matts was fun and entertaining, explained all the highlights in a clear way making sure to give all of us a bit of an insight from a Londoner perspective!

    Such amazing views..
The line's quite long but it's worth the wait. I really recommend to buy the tickets online. Amazing view. You can see the landmarks of London clearly inside the capsule and there's also seats inside if you ever get tired of standing.

    Quick trip to the eye
If your looking for something do solo or with friends this is a great place to go its such a great filler attractions to waste time it takes around hour depending on the queue, you can get a great photo before you go onto the eye. The eye always moves so just bare that mind when boarding, they don't allow you take prams onboard opened. I would say just fold them once you have been through security. I have only ever had a pod to myself early in the morning during term times, and very late at night. I love going at out because you see London at dark and the city looks lovely at night. There are loads of restaurants near the eye once you've finished can always go for dinner after. I would say that the Southbank gets very busy during the night time so always book tickets a few days before so you get the times you want. I like to book two weeks before. With a merlin pass you get to use the fast track lane be warned its stairs up to the eye if you do use the fast track lane. So you might like to wait in the main queue. The pod does move very slowly I never recommend taken children under 5 on the eye I took my child whos under 4 and they got so bored and we hadn't even got to the top. You do get a great view of London, once you start to come back to bottom you can get a photo inside the pod there are camera pictures on the floor that show you where to stand for the photo I say once you get inside the pod go and stand on one, as everyone runs for them and don't move from that spot or someone will take it. Other than that this isn't an attraction you can go on more than twice. But it's fun to do if you haven't already

    Awesome tour, amazing tour guide.
Myself and my husband took the London eye river cruise on Saturday, our tour guide (I believe his name was Dave) was absolutely amazing, he was so informative and very funny, it made finding out all the history of that historical part of London so interesting and fun. We stayed up top the whole time (however you can go down into a warm area with a bar and snacks). It was absolutely a bargain for the price and what it involved. The staff were fantastic and as I say our tour guide just made the experience one to remember. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting London!! 10/10! Thank you 😊

We received some 50% vouchers at school which encouraged us to visit.

The visit starts with a short 4D show which is a bit of fun and just a couple of minutes long. We did not buy fast-track tickets but still our queue moved relatively quickly and was nowhere near as bad as it looked. Due to the popularity of the area, it always looks horribly busy around the entrance but it is quite well organised so don't be put off.

Sadly we went on a grey and wet afternoon but still the main attractions and landmarks were visible. Children enjoyed it and took lots of snaps for instagram - extremely important to a teen!

Sept 2020 • Couples
Absolutely disgusted by my visit today. As regular visitors to London and after experiencing the London eye multiple times (due to us having a merlin annual pass) I have to say I have never been more appalled and embarrassed by their customer service today.

There was one couple in front of us (already at the boarding gate) when we were told to wait for our turn. The operator allowed the couple onto their pod, we didn’t get invited forward until their pod door had closed.

We were then invited onto our pod alongside a single rider, someone who wasn’t wearing their mask properly and who was constantly moving around whilst waiting. This made me anxious so my partner and I got out of the pod.

The operators stopped the eye and asked why we got off, so we informed them of the situation and questioned why, if 6 people per pod is their policy, did the other couple Get their own and us (plus the other guy) weren’t sharing.

The customer service from their colleague Yasmin was disgraceful. She was bordering on yelling at us and wouldn’t let my husband speak. She kept diverting the question of ‘why were we made to wait when we could have gone on as a 5 with the other couple?’

Her response was ‘well you can wait but I guarantee you won’t get your own pod like that couple’ so disrespectful as that wasn’t what we were asking.

One rule for one and one for another.

Then, their ‘duty manager’ tried to sort the situation, she again refused to answer the question and whilst speaking to my husband, told him to wait and began dealing with another complaint from a group of people.

We gave up and walked away.

Disgraceful.

Well worth taking a trip to the London eye. Only negative was that the binoculars we had prepaid we did not receive, we assumed they would be given out when we got close to getting on, but apparently they were at shop (which the queue passes) which we were not aware of. Better communication should be provided about where these are to be collected.

The £15 paid was kindly refunded.

Booking was made for 3pm in the afternoon. This actually refers to the time you join the back of the queue. The queue moved along and after 30mins we got the front and got into our capsule after having a photo taken against a green screen.
Once inside the capsule, the full rotation takes approx 30mins. Unless you have some Knowledge of places in London this is just a good way of seeing the skyline. What would enhance this experience would be some guide or commentary to point out the key parts of the skyline.
Towards the end of the ride there is another photo opportunity.
Once the ride finishes you can then purchase your very expensive photographs, something we didn’t do as the cost of the attraction was already overpriced.

Maybe it was because the day was kind of cloudy and we did not see as much as we saw in Paris. As your time is very limited, you depend a lot on what's happening with the weather.
The pro was, that we were able to see several buildings from close but above, something you cannot see from the street while passing by. We shared the space with only a few more, so there was no pressure or uncomfortable feeling while being inside. To see London from above you should consider taking this ride, but only in case it's sunny, clouds will harm the trip.

One of the 'must do' London experiences. We got a buy one get one free ticket offer from a packet of biscuits so the price wasn't too bad, wouldn't have felt as happy paying the full price though. Pre booked a time slot but still had to queue which made pre booking seem a bit pointless. The pods are roomy but probably have fewer people in them due to covid, but our pod was definitely fuller than the others and one group hogged the best views nearly the whole ride. Despite this the views are amazing and it goes slow enough to really have a good look over the city and get plenty of photos. You don't have to take part in the official photo opportunities if you don't want to, we didn't. It was a mix of sun and cloud when we went so had good visibility, can imagine it would be a let down if its foggy or raining though. Look out for half price promotions they are really worth it as full price tickets are a bit expensive for what it is.

Every single moment was exciting and interesting. Right from planning about the trip to buying tickets, entering the capsule, breath taking views, tons of photos and videos along the way and the follow up after the ride - a thames walk till the Tower Bridge.

We went on a day which was least crowded so we got the tickets from the booth pretty much easily without any fuss. There were volunteers guiding and sharing the ticket + entry process.

Its recommended to get tickets online because we learned that the queues get pretty long both for tickets and for the entry on usual days.

We walked a short distance and were stopped for basic security check and also for group photograph. We mac waited for 3 minutes and entered the capsule.

The capsule had just us 3 and another couple, we had loads of space to move around, take pictures, pose etc.
The entire ride was around 30 minutes. There was a big camera on the west side of the capsule taking pictures which can be collected at the end if the trip before exit.

The view was awesome! You can see almost see the whole of London in a 360° perspective. The view of Westminister Castle, Big Ben, Shard and the Thames River were the absolute highlights.

Overall a Great Experience!

I enjoyed the 30min' tour overall. London is beautiful even when it is cloudy!

I just think the value for money is not great. I have visited places that provided me with equally nice views of the city for free, such as the top floors of the Tate Modern and the Skygarden buildings.

That being said, I still consider it a very enjoyable experience. If you don't mind paying some extra bucks, this tour will reveal some lovely landscapes of the city centre!

This was my daughters ( 7yo ) first trip to London and she absolutely loved going on the eye. We all loved spotting and pointing out all the landmarks you can see.
We visited on a fine day and visibility was good. It takes 30 minutes to do the full circle.

We were in a capsule with a small number of other people but everyone was very considerate of each other and we all moved carefully around the capsule.
There were moments when I just sat down and gave my feet a rest!

We have Merlin passes and we pre booked our time slot. When we arrived there was quite a long queue and I expected that we would join it, but we didn't we went in a much shorter queue and were on within 5 mins. I did also order the binoculars for my daughter which were a hit, you can collect these before you enter the queue, it is marked as a binocular ( amongst other things) collection point.

I always like to do a 'high' attraction when visiting London and this one was definitely a success.

Let me start by saying that, the views from the London eye are incredible on a lovely clear day, however I found that going up the shard was far more enjoyable and better organised and cheaper.

The thing that annoyed me with the London eye is that we bought tickets and booked for 12.45, knowing that the average trip on the London eye was 30 minutes, we also booked a table for a late lunch afterwards.

On arriving at the London eye we soon realised that the booking time meant nothing at all other than we could join the queue and wait for a further 1 hour to get on, missing our lunch appointment.

What is the point in booking a time slot, if I then have to wait a further hour, I understand it’s to manage the queue but it could be managed in a much more productive manner, not to mention every time I tried to join the queue I kept getting told I was too early and to come back. Surely if I’m booked for 12.45 and there is an hour queue, I should be allowed to start queuing at 11.45. Apparently not.
