Overview
There are numerous places in London that inspired the Harry Potter book series—you just have to know where to look for them. This guided Harry Potter tour takes you through the city to see the sights that provided inspiration for Diagon Alley, the Leaky Cauldron, and Platform 9 3/4. You’ll explore the city with fellow Potter fans, and hear fun, behind-the-scenes info from your guide along the way.
What to Expect
This Harry Potter walking tour in London meets in Leicester Square. Once you’ve met your guide and fellow Potter fans, head out through the streets.

Your guide takes you to places that inspired the fictional places made up by J.K. Rowling, including Diagon Alley, the Leaky Cauldron, and Platform 9 3/4. You’ll also stop by coffee shops and other spots where the author sat to write some of the book series. Plus, walk across Millennium Bridge, the site of Lord Voldemort’s brutal muggle attack in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

As you walk, your guide tells you entertaining behind-the-scenes information and also has props and photos to make your experience even more memorable.

Your magical adventure ends at King’s Cross Station.

A wonderful shop for one of my all time favourite movies. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful.

Loved it!

Brought back my child hood and all those great novels and films. Just couldn't believe I was in some of the places I recognised sooo well. Great tour.

Harry Potter was here...really!?

I booked the tour as a birthday treat for my 10 year old grand daughter. Good price on groupon so went for it. Was initially unclear as to meeting point - as so many ticket offices in Leicester Square - so got there early and...More

Most interesting tour I've been on in London. Thank you to John.

Very involved tour with the Scottish guide from JK's home town of Edinburgh. Great scenery, great walk and great fun. Would highly recommend this tour to any fans of the franchise. Possibly not for young kids though as there is a lot of walking.

I don’t know. It’s a walking tour so most likely weather would be a factor. We were there in March. Had a really good day. No rain!

Its about 3 hours, and you need to be able to pay for the Tube, but it doesn't have to be an Oyster Card. You can buy a ticket or use Apple Pay.
