The sights were the stars but our guide made the show!
Trip 79 First off, Steve, our guide, did a magnificent job of rustling over 50 people efficiently without us feeling herded. That takes talent. Secondly, he had an amazing store of interesting facts he told us enroute to our venues plus funny jokes, remarks and puns. He certainly helped make a long day more enjoyable. Surprisingly for us the Windsor Castle tour was a highlight. Being able to put yourself in a Royals living situation was enlightening. The Stonehenge walk around was quietly thrilling and worth the effort. The town of Bath, while overrun with tourists, was made interesting by Steve’s impromptu tour for us. Finally, the charming town of Lacock was a pleasant end to a long day. The pub meal in Lacock was quite tasty and definitely try the locally made ale or cider.

    Lovely Day in the Countryside
This was an excellent all-day outing from Premium Tours, mostly because of the guide, Eugene (and great driver, whose name sadly escapes me) whose wit, energy, knowledge, and skill in shepherding a large group was appreciated. A blustery day in historic Burford, bucolic Bibury (with a quick nice 2-course lunch at the Swan Hotel) and Stow was a great addition to our London visit.

Amazing Trip to Paris with Anna as our guide!
Our family of four (two teenage daughters) took the Premier Tours trip from London to Paris on the Eurostar. Highlights included having lunch at Madame Brasserie at the Eiffel Tower as well as the Seine River cruise. One of the best parts though was learning so much from Anna about the city of Paris , its history, landmarks and architecture as we travelled to the Eiffel Tower/city center from the Eurostar station. She took photos for everyone at the gardens at the Louvre and at the Eiffel Tower. Anna’s knowledge, sense of humor and care in getting everyone back and forth safely and efficiently lent the day such a warm relaxed fun vibe. She was very clear in all of the logistical travel instructions and it seemed everyone on the tour had a nice time. Highly recommended!

    Enjoyed our day
We had a very nice day with our tour guide Anna. The tour was very organized and everything was taken care of with traveling, site seeing and the meal. Anna is very kind and approachable. I would recommend to anyone who would like to visit Paris for a day but might be intimidated by going there on your own.

    Fun-filled day trip
Had a great time with Steve and Florian. Steve gave us many tips to ensure we could see all the good sights. Dinner in Lacock was amazing (Red Lion Pub) in the charming village. Saw a few Harry Potter sites to round out the day. Highly recommend but definitely coming back for longer visit at Windsor.

    Great Experience
Great Experience. Recommend Anna! She is well experienced and very attentive to all guests. She provides great detail and ensures you know where you are going and where to meet at every stop. Wouldn’t have been able to coordinate the same trip or experience on our own. Great Job Anna - Thank you!

Wonderful tour and we felt safe.
Wonderful tour! Very well organized. Anna shared a wealth of information. She made sure that everyone’s questions were answered and that we were all where we were supposed to be when we were supposed to be there. The lunch was fantastic. We felt special having faster access to the elevator going to the restaurant. The meal and views were great and we enjoyed talking with other tour-mates.

Wonderful time with a wonderful tour guide!
We went with Anna on the Eurostar from London and around Paris, she knows a lot and was a wonderful tour guide (and very funny)! When the train was fairly delayed or when traffic was quite heavy and slow she was very quick to adapt plans so that the tour was still a great time and we wouldn't miss the train back, but still felt like we saw a lot of Paris and didn't miss out on anything major. Overall a wonderful time!! If I can, I'll be coming back again :)

    Lovely day in Paris !
We had the best day in Paris. Anna introduced herself to us on the train. We were able to add lunch at the Eiffel Tower last minute. The bus ride was a nice tour of the city while heading to the Eiffel Tower. After the tour and lunch we had fun on the river cruise before heading back to the train station. Anna kept track of everyone every step of the way and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for a quick day in Paris!

To be completely honest, we were really on the fence about whether to choose this trip as it was a little more expensive, but...we are SO glad we did! This trip is one you will never, ever forget and well worth the extra cost to get access to the inner circle. Our guide for the day, Frank was the epitome of a well versed, professional tour guide. He was funny and most entertaining, telling our 20 person group various stories and interesting bits of information along the way during the ride to Stonehenge. Once there he, along with our Stonehenge host, Wendy, both were such great sources of interesting facts about this most magical and mysterious place. We spent a full hour inside the circle and took a many pics as we could.
At our next stop, Lacock, we had a very nice traditional English breakfast at the historic George Inn, followed by a short and informative walk around this cute, quaint village where many movies have been made, including some Harry Potter scenes. Our last stop was Bath and a visit to the Roman baths, which was actually very fascinating, and then some free time to shop or get a snack. On our way back to London, our fantastic driver, Neil, proved his incredible driving skill by getting our rather large tour bus safely through the extremely narrow streets of Bath. He earned applause from the entire group when he literally squeezed our bus between a very tight space on the busy street, leaving only inches to spare!!
Thank you, Frank and Neil!
What an incredible day we had on this trip!! Very, very highly recommended!!

Definite trip highlight!! We did the evening version and took advantage of the golden hour photo ops — truly amazing!!! Loved seeing the Roman Baths but if you do the entire audio guide, it will eat up most of your time. We did most of it and still had time to get a clotted cream ice cream treat. Lacock is charming - tip to eat fast so you can walk around town a bit. Seeing the English countryside was phenomenal leading up to the true highlight of Stonehenge. Our heritage society guide was very good and answered many questions. We had plenty of time in the inner circle and left all feeling amazed. Our Premium Tours guide was Carol who did a phenomenal job providing the right amount of commentary and ensured that we all were ok. We considered the lesser price version but have no regrets spending the extra $ for our private experience. We were treated like VIP’s!! Would definitely recommend this experience!!

My highlight was the private viewing of Stone Henge, a mystical moment that will, permanently, stay with me.

The full day adventure tour is a great way to start the 20s. The Premium coach tour guide operator, Andrew, really knows his history and done a fantastic job, explaining and giving us interesting facts.
Also Wendy, from the English Heritage Foundation at Stone Henge, was really lovely and very helpful.

Once again, thank you for making my weekend.

Traveling amongst a younger friend group, the tour guide Annamaria made it known that the predisposition toward us was unfavorable from the beginning. She made an effort to be extremely kind and accommodating to all the older people, except towards us. We noticed this immediately and made extra effort to change her obvious bias, with no avail.
Although she was unfortunately curt towards us, in a general setting, gave a terrific tour. She is witty, full of enlightening and helpful information, and makes sure to give all options for personalized experiences.
The Stonehenge inner circle was magical, and so much fascinating information was presented by all parties involved. The trip to Bath was stunning, but in hindsight, we would do it over again by going through the Roman baths with haste, then exploring the gorgeous city for the remainder of the time. You are given option to part with the group and stay in Bath, separate from the tour as they depart. The separate transit is a minimum of fifty Pounds though, and ultimately, we decided to opt away from parting. Would definitely recommend, just to be weary of the bias if you are in a younger group.

My mother (77 yrs young) and I had a wonderful day with great Guide Peter and exceptional driver Germain. Both were so friendly and helpful wanting to ensure we had a wonderful time. Not only knowledge but helped with pictures and asked questions to connect. If you are interested in Harry Potter, there was extra special moments pointed out that you may have seen on screen (I’m not a potter head but a few seemed very interested including my friends back home). I would recommend this tour and team to anyone interested in a great day trip out of London.
Lunch at a pub it Cotswolds/Lacock was delicious and a perfect stop between Bath and Stonehenge. Peter and Germain were helpful getting pictures for people at Stonehenge and pointing out the best angles and wanting to make sure everyone had a great time. So nice not to have throngs of other tourists around while you stand 10 ft away and circle Stonehenge like a shark or one more ring removed if you can get yourself to the free path around the site like I did decades ago…..wandering inside was wonderful…no touching….our National Park tour guide was also friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience so much better. I wouldn’t have seen the stones sparkle if he hadn’t have pointed it out. While you can take your shoes off and wander in Stonehenge (I did) - they did warn us that you can only get naked on solstice lol.
Only caveat (wasn’t an issue for us) - lots of uneven surfaces in both Bath and Cotswold so mobility issues may have some challenges.
What a great day! Thank you so much!!

Unforgettable experience thanks to Premium Tours! Our first trip to the UK wouldn’t be complete without visiting Stonehenge and this tour exceeded our expectations. My husband who was very critical prior to the tour (it is a bit pricey) was amazed and came home to tell everyone this ended up being the highlight of his vacay!

Our tour guide, Peter, was just superb. Knowledgeable, approachable, and humorous. Loved how he took the time to get to know everyone on his tour. He also gave us great history lessons we didn’t know beforehand.

The trip to Bath was wonderful! The city is absolutely stunning…a painting frozen in time! I felt like I travelled through time as the city has maintained much of its original and historic architecture. I just wish we could’ve spent more time there but it was a great preview for the next visit where I will book our family to spend at least a couple of days to explore and take in this pretty city.

Lunch at Lacock was great! What a cute and quaint little village. Like Bath, it’s almost like it’s frozen in time. The food at the Pub was great! The steak & ale pies were delicious and the toffee pudding was amazing.

The final stop and grand finale of course was the inner circle tour to Stonehenge. WOW. To actually experience one of the ancient wonders of the world up close was undeniably priceless. We were blessed with the best weather (sunny skies but cool temps) and everything ended up picture perfect.

After our tour, Peter waited to ensure we all got back to our destinations safely. What an awesome tour guide! So thankful to Premium Tours for allowing me to receive the “credit” from my husband for booking such an unforgettable tour. Lol. I only had to book it…you guys did the rest! Looking forward to booking future tours with your company.

Wonderful trip, worth getting up early to have access when no one else is around. They even opened up the gift shop and cafe for us. Our guide was James and he is charming, knowledgeable and his narrative is interesting. He has the perfect inflection. Arriving at Stonehendge early is exceptional as, you are the only group allowed in the circle. When we arrived we had to wait a bit as another group was there, but it was just a mere 10 min wait. Upon arrival the Stonehendge guide waits til all are at the circle to get photos before letting your group in , as we all have photos without people. Even when the group was in there, it is easy to obtain the photos. Lacock is a charming small town, if we were to advise we would say skip the breakfast, bring something of your own as it was just average if not poor and the town is so wonderful to walk around. A true English feeling to it. Bath, can be spend the entire time as the Baths or sometime around town. Although you arrive as a group, once inside you are given a headset to listen to as much or littel as you want and roam at your own pace. If you opt not to spend all your time at the Baths, there are shops, restaurants and pubs to see and a little park across from where you will be dropped to explore. At no point did this tour dissapoint.

It was a pleasant day out with an amazing experience walking within the stones. Definitely worth the time and expense for inner access.

The trip is mainly to Stonehenge and roman baths and you don't get much time to explore Bath or to take one of the local guided tours. Lacock is a very small place and if you take the evening Stonehenge option, all the shops would be closed apart from a couple of eateries.

Driver Barry was very skilful and our guide provided good recommendations on what to do in London and surrounds.

Trip would have been much more pleasant were it not for one passenger who tried to fully extend her chair back in a bus which isn't exactly spacious. Throughout the 11 hour trip she would press back and my knees were thoroughly bashed.

She could have taken a seat at the back of the bus with no one behind her but opted to slot herself in between two occupied rows. But I counted myself lucky that she chose to sit in front and not behind me as she was also obviously ill with a sore throat and coughed wrackingly every few minutes, unabashedly maskless.

This was a well organized and run tour. Getting the early morning tour of Stonehenge slowed us to beat the crowds and walking inside the circle was special. The tour of Lacock, which included a chance to have breakfast in an English pub, was an added bonus to the time spent in Bath routing the town. If you have a day to spend this is well with the time.

This has to be the best way by far to see Stonehenge. The inner circle after hours access gives you a remarkably intimate and private experience at this fascinating site. You are there with only your tour group (about 50 people in our case) and able to explore all around the stones (just don’t touch) while listening to the on-site archeologist/guide share interesting facts and stories. Forget the lines for shuttles only to mill around at a distance with thousands of others.

Since we did the evening Stonehenge trip, our tour started in Bath with the Roman Baths museum and a bit of time to explore on our own - just enough to get a taste of this beautiful town before the visit to Lacock Village. Lacock was more interesting than I expected. The (optional) pub food we had was serviceable and served promptly (not bad for an establishment that dates to the 1300’s).

Our guide Leon was fantastic: knowledgeable, funny and easy going, he kept us on time, entertained and informed while also giving some nice breaks to just take in the scenery. Our driver Moe got us smoothly and efficiently on our way, expertly navigating some narrow and winding streets in the large comfortable coach.
