Select Date and Travellers
2 travellers
A fun-filled day of British history, scenery and aquatic adventure, take this luxury coach trip to Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover and Greenwich. Begin with a private guided tour of Leeds Castle, once home to Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon, before visiting the city of Canterbury where you’ll see the oldest cathedral in England. Afterwards, head to the coastline to the famous White Cliffs of Dover before traveling back to London’s Greenwich, a place filled with maritime history. Finish with a sightseeing boat ride on the River Thames.
  • Maximize your time and enjoy five incredible experiences in one day
  • Explore Leeds Castle before the crowds arrive on an early-morning tour
  • Travel by coach then return by boat along the Thames River
  • Great-value tour includes entrance fees, lunch, and return transport by coach
What to Expect
Make your way to the meeting point in central London for an early morning departure. Traveling aboard an air-conditioned coach, set out on the scenic journey through the Kent countryside to Leeds Castle. Arrive at the castle for an early morning tour and receive a regal welcome with a glass of traditional mead. Enjoy a guided tour of the grand Tudor castle before the crowds arrive and hear all about its fascinating history, from the time of William the Conqueror to its most notorious former resident, Henry VIII. Continue to Canterbury, where the star attraction is the UNESCO-listed Canterbury Cathedral. After admiring the cathedral’s Gothic facade, head inside to marvel at the beautiful stained glass windows. After tucking into a packed lunch, continue to England’s southeast coast to see the mighty White Cliffs of Dover, looking out across the English Channel. Hop out to take photos of the dramatic seafront and see Dover Castle, before returning to London. The final stop of the day is Greenwich, a lively London neighborhood on the banks of the River Thames. Learn about its rich maritime heritage and see landmarks including the Old Royal Naval College, Royal Observatory, and the 19th-century tea clipper, Cutty Sark. Finish the day with a scenic boat cruise along the River Thames and admire London landmarks like the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Big Ben from the water. Arrive back in central London around 6:30pm, where your tour ends at Embankment Pier.

Enjoyed the whole trip, Leeds Castle was amazing, loved the space, gardens and the Castle Internals. Canterbury Cathedral was great, very moving. Dover was good, couldn't see much out to sea due to heat haze. Great to see Greeenwich and have the river cruise.

While a bit out of the way,, we saw this on a tour that included Canterbury and Dover, Leeds Castle is charming. The tour was self-guided but no rush to move on as in some places. (Note we were there in mid-September - it's probably...More

The box lunch was passed out to us on the bus after we saw Leeds Castle. There was a sandwich, a bag of chips, a cookie/biscuit and I believe a bottle of water. It was a perfectly serviceable lunch. We had time after seeing... More
