Itinerary

With your pass to the ZSL London Zoo, enjoy access to this world-class site that sees over one million visitors per year. With more than 20 unique habitats and 800 species of animals to view, as well as a schedule of exciting animal-themed activities throughout the day, there’s a fun attraction for every visitor.

Just inside the entrance, you can see acclaimed Gorilla Kingdom exhibit. Observe the gorillas and monkeys eating, playing, and interacting in a lush simulated rainforest. Continue on the Tiger Territory, a recently updated habitat that mimics the natural environment of the Sumatran tiger.

Crossing over into Africa, see giraffes, African hunting dogs, and zebra from the elevated viewing platform. Don’t miss the slow and sinister komodo dragon in its lair or the giant Galapagos tortoise, the giant species hailing from the islands where Darwin researched his theory of evolution. Darwin enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to Blackburn Pavilion to hear more about the finches used in the ground-breaking study by Darwin and John Gould.

Whatever route you take, carve out some quality time for Penguin Beach. Home to around 200 Macaroni and Humboldt penguins, this vibrant exhibit includes a pool with underwater viewing areas and a demonstration area to view live feedings. Opt to upgrade to a skip-the-line ticket from February to October.

Nice

Went with my 2 adult daughters. Really enjoyed it, although we did think that some of the enclosures were a little small and the animals looked bored especially the big gorilla which made us a little upset as he looked so fed up. But there...More

Nice Zoo with lots of animals to see

This zoo has all animals that you might think of. It was my first time to see a lion, tiger, giraffe, kangaroo, cobra, and many other animals. This zoo is a nice experience and is divided in an amazing way.

OK

We had an OK time at London Zoo but I wouldn't rave about it. I have been to much better. Also, it is difficult to access - either by tube and walk quite a distance (with very few signposts) or tube and then bus. Wouldn't...More

Not too bad to visit

Visited this place in a nice sunny day and it wasn't such a bad place for families with children to visit. Entry to the zoo was smooth and we were greeted by friend staff. The show times were very educational to begin your visit. We...More
