England in One Day: Stonehenge, Bath, the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon Day Trip from London
Save on both time and transport costs by visiting four of England’s most popular day trip destinations—including two UNESCO World Heritage Sites—on one tour. Marvel at ancient Stonehenge, journey through the idyllic Cotswolds countryside, enjoy a panoramic tour of historic Bath, and visit Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare.
What to Expect
Make your way to Victoria Coach Station in central London to meet your guide in time for a 7:45am departure. Set out on the 2-hour journey to Stonehenge aboard an air-conditioned coach.

On arrival, pick up your entrance tickets and audio guide. Learn about the prehistoric stones from the audio commentary and ponder their mysterious origins as you stand before the towering landmark.

Back on the coach, continue through the beautiful Wiltshire countryside to Bath for a panoramic tour of the UNESCO-listed city. See Bath Abbey, the River Avon, and the Georgian buildings of the Royal Crescent, and hear about the city’s legendary Roman Baths and connection with Jane Austen. Enjoy some free time to take photos or shop for souvenirs.

Get your camera ready as you journey through one of England’s most scenic regions: the Cotswolds. As you pass through the rolling countryside and historic market towns, admire the pretty stone cottages, bridges, and walled lanes, all built with the region’s characteristic honey-colored stone.

Finally, arrive in Stratford-upon-Avon, a town renowned as the birthplace of Shakespeare. Strolling the picturesque town, with its half-timbered houses and scenic riverfront, pay a visit to Shakespeare's Schoolroom, where you’ll be welcomed with Champagne and delicious English scones.

At the tour's end, return to the original departure point in central London.

Great Guide and Driver, obviously fantastic locations, but lacking in key areas

The first thing we learnt on our tour was that Cotswolds was not going to be covered because of an event going on there. Fair enough. But we weren't offered anything else, or a little bit of a refund because of one missed location. But...More

Sometimes, the gate for your tour announced 10-15min in advance. So you keep looking at the gate boards. It’s not a problem.

The tour itself leaves at 7:45 am and did not return until about 8pm. We spent between 1.5-2 hours driving from place to place. These buses had no bathrooms or WiFi so many people slept or read a book. There were a good... More
