Wonderful experience in a beautiful part of the UK.
Oct 2021
It had been 24 years since I had visited the south west of England so I was happy to take the opportunity of doing this tour along with 3 other friends. I wasn't disappointed as the tour went along at a good but manageable pace thanks to our tour guide/driver and - full disclosure alert - our mate Russell. I particularly enjoyed the option of walking up steep Tors and clambering around the magnificent Tintagel Castle to work off Devon Cream teas and Cornish pasties . The Minack Theatre was a wonderful surprise and pausing to admire the Clapper Bridge, a 6th Century church and old tin mine was hugely pleasurable. Exeter and Falmouth were great locations to be based as both offered fine pubs and restaurants for our evening entertainment. The tour gave plenty of room for exploring and Russell provided useful tips and information encouraging us all to participate in a way that we could get to know each other. He was also good at gauging levels of interest so that the group benefited.

5 perfect days in Devon and Cornwall with the best group anyone could wish for
Sep 2021 • Solo
When I booked the trip I honestly just wanted to explore Cornwall but in the end it was the group and our guide Russell who made it so special.

There were too many highlights to mention - from Stonehenge to Dartmoor, St Ives to Falmouth. But my favorites were Tintagel Castle and the Minack Theatre. Both places needed a little climbing but it was so worth it. The sun at Tintagel made it seem like we were in a postcard setting (and may I add that lots of the visitors there brought their dogs:-)).
The landscape was exactly how I imagined Cornwall to be like.
We visited quite a view little villages with beautiful churches and even the rain in Dartmoor could not diminish the beautiful experience (it added another level of eeriness to it and reminded me of the atmosphere in the highlands a bit)
Russell gave us time to explore and also helpful tips for what to do. He was really funny and engaging and honest and cared and did a few special stops in between as well.
The group was really lovely, funny and engaging too so it was the perfect fit.
The B&Bs we stayed at in Exeter and Falmouth were really nice and not too far from the center/beach. Oh,the beaches... absolutely impressive in general..

I never toured with a better group plus tour guide and I hope to see them all again in the future. I will definitely book more tours with Rabbie's

I've just returned from this amazing 5 days experience in Devon and Cornwall and I couldn't be happier. For me it was the first time with Rabbie's (and probably not the last), loved how the tour was structured, every day schedule was meant to allow us to taste and explore different cities and places, leaving us enough time to enjoy our free time, taste local specialties or visit different attractions. I enjoyed the company of the other travellers but also the freedom I was given to manage my accommodation, meals and free time activities. Our tour guide, Samuel, has just been great from the welcoming moment to the final good bye: always nice, available for any help or suggestions we might need, great entertainer during the driving and visiting moments and super prepared about historical and geographical details of the places, along with stories and a bit of local folklore to make every visit and stop interesting, interactive and memorable.
Would definitely recommend this tour (super thanks to our tour guide Samuel in particular) and I'm so happy I chose Rabbie's for my holidays!

I had an amazing time in this trip. The places we visited were beautiful. The Minack theatre is stunning!!! I could not have a better time and this is mainly due to the tour guide, Graham, who really made my days! So, thank you Graham and rabbie's and I will definitely join one of your other tours.

Great way to see the back roads and villages of Devon and Cornwall.
Jul 2021
Our tour guide showed us some out of the way places in Cornwall and Devon that were very charming. His laid back style made him very approachable and easy to interact with. He was there when we needed him and left us alone when we did not.

Note: This was more like a road trip with some knowledgeable friends than a stuffy 'white glove' tour. If you are looking to be catered to at all times during a trip, this is not for you. If you are looking to get some fun transport and direction, and then to use your own initiative, then I think you will like this tour.

Enjoyed the best of Devon and Cornwall
Jun 2021 • Solo
A great trip in a very small group (3 ladies plus the driver) feeling Covid safe. We went to so many hidden gems as well as typical tourist attractions in Devon & Cornwall. John (the driver) brings in the sunshine with his friendliness and flexibility to cater individual interests. Personally I enjoyed Boscastle and the hike overlooking the spectacular geological landscapes and the sea.

What a wonderful tour with Rob! From start to finish the trip was enhanced with stories , facts, mystery stops and all done in an unhurried and professional way. I would recommend this tour to anyone as it’s packed with delights and I can’t believe we covered so much in a few days / absolutely brilliant ( and as Group Travel Organizer of the year winner in 2019 I have very high standards ) thanks to Rabbies for the idea of smaller groups as it is so much more fun than a large coach party . Rob you’re a gem of a tour guide

I enjoyed this tour enormously. Christo, our guide was helpful, well informed about the interesting things to see and do and added enjoyment to the tour. He took us to Buckfast Abbey which was one of the highlights for me, although it was not in the itinerary, which was much appreciated.
The highlights for me were Buckfast Abbey and Tintagel Castle as well as Moorland
