Visited several times over the years and watched Coola & Grinder grow up from cubs to mature bears. Thank you Grouse Mountain for providing such great web cams so that we can look in on the bears at any time, which we do daily. We live in Australia and this enables us to

staff very friendly and helpful. So easy to use Trip Advisor app to book events. We walked up the mountain about 3 km but the many rocks on the trail was difficult to manage and took away the enjoyment of hiking it. The beginning of this trail is past the grizzly enclosure, its

It is raining down in Vancouver, but 6 minutes up in a skytrain and you are in a winter paradise. We didn't ski this time, but they have beautiful ice rink and a sledding zone so kids are having fun. Its a good idea to get your mountain access online and skip the lines.

Hi Sandpiperarts, Thanks for the nice words and the stars! You have discovered one of the secrets of Vancouver! On cold (3C and below) and rainy days in Vancouver, chances are very good that it is snowing on the North Shore Mountains!! It's great up here when that happens.

The ride up was very crowded,we managed to get a seat and a view, but the views at the end of the ride are wonderful and you can get a ski ride higher to get even a better panorama. On Grouse mountain there was a grizzly bear enclosure which was quite extensive and we saw two

Hi Banff4me, Thanks for the sweet review and the stars! It sounds like you had a great visit up here in our green season! Seeing our resident grizzlies, Grinder and Coola, up close is something else. I recommend it for everyone. And you got to see the Birds in Motion show! They are so cool. I can't decide which is my favourite. Sometimes it's the falcon because of the way it swoops and flies around and other times it's the owl because of silent flight. We hop you get the chance to come back and visit! It's the winter season now and it's beautiful.

Getting up there is only by Gondola ride. Fairly straight forward. But if come back in the afternoon anywhere near days end, expect long delays that stretch back into the park. Recommend a visit to Grinder and Coola, the two "captive Grizzly" bears, the lumberjack show is

Hi Peter S, Thanks for the detailed review and the 5 stars! It sounds like you had a terrific visit up here in our green season! It's winter now and Grinder and Coola are hibernating. People are having fund snowboarding, skiing and skating all over. We hope you get a chance to come back and see us soon!
