Yosemite in a Day - Wow!

The Sept 1 trip was a long day starting at 5:30AM and returning 7:00PM. I've been on many guided tours throughout the world. This tour to capture the essence of Yosemite National Park was spectacular. In some cases, the tour guide can make or break a tour. In this case, Snowshoe John made the tour a huge success. SJ was informative, provided great time management, and made the group as comfortable as possible during a long touring day. Obviously Yosemite speaks for itself, as you hit most of the key scenic points in the park to experience the wilderness with a sense of peace and humility. I would recommend, if you can, to visit the park in late May, June, or early July for the full blown display of waterfalls throughout the park. The coach bus accommodations were very good, clean with high ceiling and open air windows - a plus during these Covid-19 times. This is a must-do if you are visiting Lake Tahoe for an extended period of time. Enjoy!

Best tour ever!

This was the BEST investment of time and money! We were picked up at our hotel in Lake Tahoe at 5:30 am and dropped us off at 7:30 pm. The driver was extremely nice and provided unbelievably narration from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite National park and back. He is an experienced climber and backwoods hiker and knew every rock, tree, mountain, etc. throughout the trip. We had multiple stops throughout the day including breakfast and lunch provided by the driver. No potty on the bus but the stops were well planned. We have taken many tours around the world but this my far was the best. Hightly recommend it!

Spectacular Experience!!
Our Yosemite Tour experience was far more exciting and enjoyable than we had even imagined! Our tour guide “Snowshoe John” was amazing with his endless knowledge and detailed information of not only our destination area, but so much more all throughout the trip. What a wonderful personality and professional attitude. Everything was on time and flawless It couldn’t have been better!

Best way to see Yosemite from S. Lake Tahoe
Perfect day with Snowshoe John! He is the guy you need for visiting Yosemite, knowledgeable beyond belief on every detail. The pick up was 5:30am and drop off at 7pm. Breakfast and lunch provided by Snowshoe and was delicious! Also bring reusable bottle for water, there is a jug on the bus to refill! Great add! Many stops along the way and bathroom breaks. Great trip and Yosemite is beautiful!!

There was something for everyone on this trip. Don't go if you hate beautiful vistas, mountain fresh air, a bit of exercise and history lessons. Snowshoe John was the perfect host, feeding us delicious food and educating us about all things Yosemite.

Yosemite with Snowshoe John

Hard to pick a favorite, it was all spectacular! Our guide, Snowshoe John was incredibly knowledgeable about Yosemite. That place is part of his soul and he knows every square inch. His love was contagious and we caught it too! The breakfast and lunch provided was also perfect. You could tell it was done with care and thought to please everyone. Our comfort and safety was of utmost importance to him, and every detail was considered. We really enjoyed this excursion and highly recommended it!

Even though the visibility was terrible because of the surrounding fires, the trip was worth it. The driver went out of his way to make the best of a tough situation. Everything from the interesting information to the breakfast and lunch presentation was great. Snowshoe John was outstanding.

Best ever group tour
I cannot say enough about our tour guide, Snowshoe John. He went above and beyond to make the tour informative and enjoyable. The breakfast and buffet lunch was perfect. John paid close attention to details and food choices were varied. He chose the best sights for us to see. The short videos on the way were so enjoyable. John was a wealth of information on ecology, botany, geology, history, and his personal experiences in the park. This tour was well worth the money! A big adventure by a passionate guide.

John was great and fun as our guide and driver. Yosemite is beautiful. We were fortunate with the weather that day , temperatures from 30 - 70. The breakfast John had for us was perfect and the lunch selection along with the picturesque setting by the river was great. We liked the times we stopped for pictures along the road. Yosemite is truly a national treasure. Thanks to you and of course “Snow Shoe John” for a great day at Yosemite

5 stars. Great tour guide, Joe. Showed videos, explained our adventure all along the way. Great libations and food, breakfast lunch and snacks. COVID conscientious. Lively and knowledgeable and very likable guide. Nice buss too! However Type of visit, does not work.
