Small-Group Quebec City Food Tour

Overview
Explore Quebec City’s food scene and learn about the city’s history on this small-group walking tour. You’ll taste 15 local items, including crepes, maple candy, and smoked salmon, as you hear commentary about from your guide about hip the St. Jean-Baptiste district and UNESCO-listed Old Quebec. The tour includes all tastings, and a small group means plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at the Quebec Tourist Information Center prior to your departure time, and then begin walking through the UNESCO-listed neighborhood of Old Quebec.

Learn about the neighborhood’s rich history and architecture en route to two eateries, where you'll enjoy traditional food and wine, followed by a spot known for its maple products.

Then, head to the bohemian district of St. Jean Baptiste and walk past Parliament, the Grand Theatre, and more—stop to sip microbrews, sample French bistro fare, and satisfy your sweet tooth at a creperie and chocolate shop.

Tour concludes at the original departure point.

Depends on guide

I read great reviews about this tour. Unfortunately, our guide was tired and spent no time discussing Quebec or this city. She did mention how great and special the next stop would be (and some were).

Great Guide and Great Experience

We highly recommend this tour. Our Guide Harry was A1 and if possible you should request him. Very informative and friendly. Each stop wine or cider or tea and food sample. Very pleasant way to spend a few hours !!

This tour is 1 km of hard uphill walking. Several of us struggled to keep up. Some people dropped out because the hills are too much even for a young person. We needed water, but there was no place to get any. By the end...More

Our guide Pierre took us around inside and outside the walls of the city. Walking along hearing the history and stories of the neighborhoods and buildings on the way. But the essence of the tour is local foods, and we were well satisfied with the...More
