Overview
Travel across Ottawa’s land and water on this amphibus tour. You’ll learn about the history and architecture of Canada’s capital with a guide, who points out landmarks you might have missed on your own. After a tour of the charming streets, descend on the amphibious vehicle  into the Ottawa River for a rare view of the cityscape. Choose from multiple departure times to best suit your schedule.
What to Expect
The tour begins at the intersection of Sparks and Elgin Street, just steps away from Parliament Hill. Climb aboard a convertible land-to-water amphibus and settle in for a 1-hour tour of Ottawa and Gatineau.

Listen to entertaining live commentary as you pass famous landmarks including Canadian Parliament, the National Gallery, and the Prime Minister’s residence. The on-board guide ensures you see unmarked and lesser-known points of interest that visitors often miss.

Once you’ve explored the city streets, the amphibus descends into the Ottawa River. From the water, enjoy rare panoramic views of the cityscape. Pass the capital’s three iconic bridges as the guide provides historical background you won’t find in the guidebooks.

After the bus makes its way out of the water, take a scenic ride over the Rideau Canal and end the tour back at Parliament Hill.

Perfect Tour of the Capital City

Not Just a Bus!

It's also a boat, which was cool. And it's not just a bus that gets you to the boat part of the tour, they give you a bit of a city tour of where the embassay's are, as well as some recommendations on places to...More

Basic tour to get an overview

This is a basic tour to get an overview of the city from different angles. The explanations weren’t very detailed, and some of it seemed fillers (e.g., pointing out various embassies). The ride in the water also seems a bit of a gimmick, as it’s...More

The cost for those over 65 is $29.25. I would suggest if you were downtown that they have a Ottawa pass that includes different sites- museum and site for a reduced price. I believe they call it a Ottawa passport. ( Much... More
