Overview
Peggy's Cove is one of the most unique, captivating and exhilarating eye-openers in Nova Scotia. The quaint seaside hamlets of Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover and West Dover, to mention but a few, are also breathtaking. Known as Canada's most famous fishing village, Peggy's Cove, with its famous glacier rocks, offers an attraction that predates the stone age. As well, visitors can see the only post office in North America that is in a lighthouse. We stop here for approximately 30 minutes and if you're enjoying yourself, you can stay and enjoy a delicious fish chowder or perhaps a nice cold beer.

Came to Peggys Cove today. Such a beautiful fisherman village. Not a lot to do other than walk around, take very nice pictures and relax. Very much worth the drive and visit. You will not regret!

Indeed a very beautiful little fishing village. If you like The Flintstones, Peggy`s Cove is the place to visit but the drive along the way to Peggy`s Cove with all the quaint little fishing villages is simply breathtaking. Thank you and have a great and wonderful day.

Unfortunately our one day was pouring rain. My first reaction was disappointment but then we found a lovely restaurant with an amazing view of coast line and lighthouse. A nice cup of tea and a dreary but peaceful scene.

Indeed we hate to do tours on a rainy day and The Most High decides when it rains. When you come next time, I will make sure to ask for a sunny day in advance haha! Thanks.

Very picturesque but also very crowded in mid-October. Parking by car was difficult on a Sunday afternoon. The landscapes leading to Peggy's Cove were as good or better than the lighthouse itself.

Indeed September and October are the busiest around Peggy`s Cove with all the beautiful fall colors that dazzle the eyes. Thank you for coming to Nova Scotia. We hope to see you again.
