    What to Expect
Visit: Hopewell Rocks, 131 Discovery Rd, Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick E4H 4Z5 Canada

The Hopewell Rocks is a place to pause and a place to appreciate a remarkable story interwoven through time, tide, and the intricacies of nature. These are the highest tides in the world. And they happen twice a day, every day. These tides can reach up to 50ft (15m), which is the height of a four-story building.

The Hopewell Rocks are located along the Bay of Fundy and are home of the highest tides in the world. An iconic and popular place for ocean tidal exploration, it offers a unique natural experience of both high and low tides. Enjoy the multi-media exhibit, scenic walking trails, informative walking tours and lookouts.

Walk on the ocean floor with towering rock formations that have been carved by the weather and the powerful incoming waters over decades. You’ll want to visit the Hopewell Rocks during both high tide and low tide so you can truly appreciate the height and range of the highest tides in the world.

Nearby are Fundy National Park, Cape Enrage, Mary’s Point Bird Sanctuary, covered bridges, artisan shops, crafters, museums, quiet beaches, lighthouses, waterfalls, biking and hiking trails and more. At Hopewell Rocks, Baymount Outdoor Adventures allows you to kayak the world’s highest tides around the huge rock formations!

Couple of hours drive from Saint John, but quite worth the trip. You walk down 100 steps at low tide to get to the bottom. Wear mud loving shoes because you will be walking over wet and muddy areas as you explore the rocks. Several...More

Beautiful day to walk the trails and the ocean floor. This marvel of the Bay of Fundy is a sight to see. Nature at it's best.

Not quite sure they do not advertise this beautiful place as a New Brunswick Provincial Park but I believe it is. Modern visitor center and facilities, great trails and view points; well worth the admission. They give a AAA discount as well.

While doing research for our Maritime Provinces trip, I read about the Bay of Fundy, but nothing prepared me for this. I'm still telling everyone I meet about this place weeks after we visited. I totally agree that the Bay of Fundy should be classified...More

Definitely a must see. There is a web cam for friends or family back home to watch you! Was able to text and let them know we were down there. People did think we were crazy, standing there waving! But having pictures of yourself down...More
