Loved this experience and so worth the entrance fee. When we first arrived they Lumber jack show was about to start, it made our tummies turn to watch the antics of one of the Lumber Jacks as he climbed to the top of his pole and then proceeded to do a hand stand at the top - he certainly entertained the crowd. The rest of the show was excellent and again very entertaining. We took the ski chairs and went to the very top of the mountain where we were treated to some amazing views of Vancouver below. A little chipmunk even came to nibble my trainer, he was so tame. There were also bears to see, totally different to seeing them in a zoo as they are rescue bears and are eventually returned to the wild.
To get to Grouse mountain we got the free shuttle bus from Canada Place, paid to get in to Capilano then once finished there we crossed the road outside the entrance and jumped on a bus, which took us to Grouse Mountain, cost next to nothing an the buses run really regularly. On leaving Grouse mountain we got the free shuttle back to Canada Place. So well organised!

Dear Hazel S,
We're very happy that you had an amazing time on your tour of Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park! The lumber jack show is one of the best parts of Grouse Mountain apart from the beautiful views at the very top! We hope you got lots of memorable pictures of the bears and the views! We hope to see you on our tours in the future.
Thank you

Grouse mountain was so much nice place to know how beautifu nature Vancouver has so that I storongly recommend this tour, especially if you are new to Vancouver. In this tour, firstly, you can reach the peak of Vancouver by the lift and see an expansive city view there. The view was beatiful and will be memorable experience in my life. Luckily, I could see two cute Grizzly bears named Grinder and Coola as well! Secondly, you can go to Capilano suspension bridge park. There are some attraction to thrill like long bridge and cliffwalk. I really enjoyed those and took pictures with friend. If possible, I want to go there again in the furture.

$300 seems a bit expensive for the day trip for two, but as we priced out the option of paying admission at each and renting a car/uber it made sense to do it. For those looking to save the expense, there is a shuttle/bus that takes you from the vancouver dock to these two locations. That said, we opted for the tour to take the hassle out of planning this excursion. We enjoyed the day sight-seeing on the mountain and by the bridge. We went early to the mountain and unfortunately the kiosk selling treats were closed and we were told the bears are more active later in the day. Gondola view was nice as was the view from the top of the mountain. Bridge was really well maintained and the amenities are pretty good as well. We enjoyed some drinks, poutine, and a burger while spending a few hours there. Guide/driver was knowledgeable and pleasant. Hachery was kind of boring and seemed like it was about to close. That section could be cut without a loss to the rest of the day trip.

The tour consisted of a quick stop at the salmon farm which was not a great use of limited time. The suspension bridge site and Grouse mountain are well worth a visit but I’d recommend simply getting a cab and paying for entry. Our guide went to great pains to explain the layout of each area (including washrooms) which wasn’t really necessary and wasted valuable time for anyone who can independently travel. We had to wait for late returners and got stuck in traffic before doing the hotel drop offs. About four and a half hours at the two sites for a 6 hour trip. I’d also say our guide was a little patronising with some of his commentary and we didn’t appreciate being told to ‘shhh’ when he was speaking - especially as we were simply commenting on his observations.

Trip advisor did not have a travel category for our group. We were a group of 5 adults (husband/self and 2 grown adult kids w/ partner ranging in age from 24-59.
We had a one day trip to spend in Vancouver, drove up early from Seattle where we were spending a week, and decided to kickoff our day at the suspension bridges.. It was a great way to see some of the beauty in Vancouver and worked for all ages. That being said the cost seems pretty high vs the amount of time really needed in the experience. I would rate it a solid 5 if it was $35/head iso $60 - but we did enjoy walking all the bridges and the cliff walk. I would suggest considering the free version closer to Vancouver if your looking to spend a shorter amount of time. I purchased my tix online before telling our local friend our plans. It was beautiful and the view was prob better here then the free one… but for 5 people not sure the cost difference was worth it. Maybe check Groupon or other sites for discounts. Cliff walk was cool too, but the entire place was pretty busy.

The best part of the tour was the chair ride up to the top of the mountain. We saw two grizzly bears in captivity and we enjoyed a wood-chopping demonstration and comic performance. The gondola ride up and down was also much fun and the views were spectacular.
The Capilano suspension bridge was hard to walk across but the walks at the end were well laid out and we finished the day with icecreams at one of the eating places there.

The trip up to the top of Grouse mountain taking the Gondola is very worthwhile. There is quite a lot to do at the top. The lumberjack show is well worth the time and the views after taking the chair lift are amazing. Include a meal at the restaurant taking in the views (book a table as soon as you get off the Gondola). Give yourself 3 hours if you have a meal.
You can easily drive to both the suspension bridge and the mountain gondola yourself. You don’t need to arrange one of the tour guides.

Hello,
We're happy to hear that you had a great time on your tour! It's definitely important to book a table at the restaurant at the top of Grouse Mountain to get the best view possible with some amazing food! We're glad that you enjoyed the lumberjack shows amongst the other ones and soaking in the views at the very top of the chairlift!

Trying to fit as much of Vancouver into a few days (travelling across Canada for the Australian school holidays), this chance to visit both Grouse Mountain and Capilano Bridge Park in one day was fantastic! Much easier to manage 2 preteen kids with all the travelling and tickets prearranged. Our guide Graeme (or Graham, sorry didn’t check the spelling) was fun and informative. And Allan the driver was also very pleasant to talk to and handled driving the bus superbly. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to harried parents who want to fit as much of Vancouver possible into a small timeframe. Cheers.

We took the Capilano Bridge & Grouse Mountain Tour. Andy was our guide. I would highly recommend this tour and the Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing Company. They were right on time picking us up at our hotel and delivering us back to the hotel after the tour. Andy was very knowledgeable and made sure we knew what we could do at each of the stops. He actually walked around with us for the first 15 minutes at each stop to show us around.

Hi there! My group and I are excited to book this tour but just wanted to make sure - the Grouse Mountain portion does include the grizzly bear enclosure, lumberjack show, and “Birds in Motion” show as well?
Also, we are staying at an Airbnb on Nelson and Burrard St in/near the West End. Would there be pickup available around there?
Thank you,
Crystal

The grizzly bears, lumberjack show and birds of motion were included but the lumberjack show started around the same time
As the lumberjack show. We missed the beginning of the lumberjack show. It was so foggy the day we went we could barely see the men at the top of the poles. The tour company was very responsive to our questions about pick up locations. I would call them.
My sister had knee surgery (3 months before we go to vancouver). She may need at times to use a folding walker. Can this be accommodated for?
