As with other trips we couldn't book with trpadviser.a trawl through the Internet got us booked on trip at the time and date we wanted. Lovely weather made this voyage very atmospheric. The buffet was great aas was the drinks service. We were musically entertained throughout the trip by a self accompanying due. Perfect evening on our last day in Vancouver

Tip - You have assigned tables, so it doesn't matter if people sneak and force their way in front of you to get a better seat, which they will do.

It was a nice cruise. It lasts a good length of time and the views are spectacular. I am not sure if you can request a deck, but if you can, I would recommend requesting deck A, because deck B is hotter then the gates of hell. There were quite a few people who kept going up to the front to open the two patio type doors to get some air in, but staff and musicians kept closing it. There are two air conditioners, but they weren't on. The food is served on deck A and when we went down there to plate, it was nice and cool and breezy. I think the view would be the same, but I cant be certain.

The food was good and a nice variety. It was good for a vegetarian diet, but not vegan. I think you might be able to request special dishes ahead of time though. I did see someone with a meal that was completely different from the buffet fair, so I assume they requested something ahead of time. Drinks are extra.

The staff were great and the musicians very talented. One of the servers went around to ask if we needed a cab, which we did, and there was a line up for people and cabs when we got off the boat and walked a short distance to the parking lot. There is no Uber :( If you are taking a cab and you are waiting in line, go to the back of the line and wait a bit because the parking lot is crazy and it takes a long time for the cabs to get out. Wait for things to thin out a bit.

Over all it is a great experience and I think the ticket price is a good value based on the quality of the dinner, entertainment, and view.

We chose this as it was my wife's birthday. The weather was perfect in August, the views spectacular with loads of opportunity to take photos. The food was very good (though I was expecting to make more than one visit as it was a buffet - so fill your plate!) and the wine inexpensive!

The staff was completely disorganized. We didn’t see a waitress for 20 minutes after we sat down. They didn’t know where the tables were. Food was ok…. Not worth the price wouldn’t go again. Music/two man band was horrible.

We were abroad the MV Harbor Princess, it was a okay trip nice boat ride around the area. However the dinner service abroad the boat was terrible. We had to wait for drinks to include water to be served and once we were able to order drinks again wait for a very long time for them to bring them to us. The food was okay nothing special and served buffet style thank-god for that part. I would say don't be in a hurry carry on some water prior to getting on broad and have patients most of all.

This cruise was 5 stars for the food and 1 star for just about everything else. The good: delicious buffet with salmon and beef roast, potatoes, pasta, salad, bread, roasted vegetables. Everything was tasty, and the desert was blueberry cheesecake, chocolate cake, and fruit. Also good was the scenery. The bad: drink service was super slow, and drinks aren't included in the price. There was little narration, and when the lady finally did start telling us what we were seeing out the filthy windows, we couldn't understand her. She needs to enunciate and stop using a sing-song voice. The ugly: our boat, the Britannia, was not a paddle boat as we expected, and it had no AC. It was stifling, with no air circulation to speak of. At first we were put in a corner by the bar, where we were so hot I literally felt sick, and we got up to leave and demand our money back. They moved us to the bottom deck, which was a little better, but I still was miserable. The outside temperature was really pleasant, but the boat simply had no way to circulate air. Finally, our window was so streaked with bird poo, I couldn't see well or get a decent picture. Overall, I would not do this cruise again unless I was assured the vessel was open to the air so I could both see and breathe easy.

This is been a bucket list for my wife and I for many years. So when they opportunity came up to do a cruise with dinner and the grand finale of the fireworks we couldn't resist buying the tickets. We were on the Britannia on the bottom floor which was as hot as an oven with no airflow whatsoever. The meal was passable and the desserts were gone in an instant. When I asked about having some roast beef he just carved, I was denied. He said I must choose from the big thick ugly pieces of roast beef that were on the table. I eat very little red meat but I wanted to try it. I felt like I was 5 years old and he was my mother saying no you can't, even though I paid for it! We had also asked where the best place to view the fireworks would be , we were told the port side of the ship. So we go on the port side of the ship and lo and behold it's on rear deck of the ship. We were upstairs waiting for the fireworks to start 30 minutes prior to thinking we would have a great seat our view was completely blocked. When you pay $140 per ticket, you expect a great cruise, wonderful food and spectacular fireworks. The only great thing was the sunset. Why on Earth did the captain not turn the ship sideways the more people could enjoy the fireworks?
We did it but never again!

Having enjoyed the Indian Arm cruise several years ago, we were looking forward to seeing our city in the evening with sparkling lights and a beautiful sunset. It was a gorgeous clear evening but unless you climbed the stairs to the outside deck, there was hardly any view to be seen, due to the high degree of reflection on the windows from the inside LED string lights as well as regular pot lights. There was also a highly reflective ceiling treatment. Very little could be seen or appreciated from our window-side table unless you glued your face to the window. The company needs to rethink their lighting when selling the cruise as a chance to view Vancouver's skyline and attractions. As an arthritic senior, I had to pull myself up the stairs to the outside decks to appreciate the wonder of the night skyline. Very disappointing, as the time on deck was short due to the brisk temperatures. The crew and service staff were attentive and the meal was a good buffet.

When I booked this, I had read the reviews and expected a nice meal, but we got more than expected. Our tickets identified our assigned seating and we were taken to our table by a hostess who seated us at a table for two with crisp white table linens. The live music was classy and not intrusive and, on the whole, it was a lovely evening. One middle-aged couple next to us were locals celebrating her birthday, and those on the other side were a young couple celebrating their second anniversary.t was a lovely romantic evening for them, too.
Our server, Ken, was great and super efficient. As soon as we were seated, he came for drink orders and brought us bread. The buffet is set up on the main deck and we were seated on the upper deck. We were glad to be up there for the view even though we had to walk up and down. There were several salad choices, great salmon, vegetables, potatoes, rice, beef, fruit, and dessert.
We would definitely recommend this dinner cruise!
After dinner, they will call a taxi for you-if you need one. It costs almost $40CAD to get to the airport hotel area-but is still worth it.
One caution; if you have trouble going up and down stairs, be sure to request the main deck, and also be aware that the washroom is below decks-which requires stairs.

This was our first trip to Vancouver and we thought a dinner cruse would be a perfect thing to do on our last night. It was my husband and I, and our teenage daughter. We all enjoyed ourselves! The boat is nice (Habour Princess) and the food is good & plentiful. We really enjoyed the live music, as the band played great mellow songs (like john mayer). We felt that the alcoholic options were very well priced, as well.

The trip took several hours and went very slow around the harbour. The night time view of the city was beautiful & worth every penny! We would definitely recommend this tour!
