Got to learn about how plastics are turned into keychains, and how we can do better to help out the environment. Then got to meet animals such as ponies, goats, and others! Our guide Chicas was great at letting the goats take peanuts from our mouths for a “kiss”. Next, we got to learn about the camels before we rode them. We got to take pictures with one camel Hercules. The pictures were actually very good, done by them. They don’t allow you to take your own pictures, but if you bring your phone onto the camels, you can sneak a couple. But it’s not completely necessary as the pictures they take are good. I brought my go pro on the camel ride and got some great shots. After riding camels, Chicas took us through a garden and explained some of the natural fruits and plants they had growing there! Once through the garden, we arrived at a beautiful sunset dinner with traditional Mexican food. This is also where you are able to buy the pictures from your camel riding experience. All the pictures (lowest packed offered) were 64 USD. They also offered a 84 USD package that includes a drone shot video of the adventure. Finally, the last package (I think around 114 USD) included all of the previous and a framed picture of your choice. After choosing picture options (or not), you get to eat with a sunset background and sample up to 4 different tequilas. Was a very good time overall with our guide Chicas.

As with all online purchases I researched feedback on multiple companies for tours and excursions in Los Cabos. Cabos Adventures seemed to have the best ratings. And to say it delivered on its rating is an understatement

David at the guest desk was like my on wife vacation. He took all my money but did it with a smile paired with great service. . Eisa on our Eco tour was like an engaged Green Earth professor in college. Engaging and informative.

Javin back 6 months in Cabos his home town was professional, friendly, and informative. I now feel like I could go to any zoo in the country and tell the average person everything they would want to know about camels. And they would walk away with a smile.

Last but certainly not least, Vic and Jacob. To say they were great tour guides is an understatement. They truly promote safety, fun, and making you feel like your part of a large happy Mexican family regardless of where your from. This so far was the best day of our 7 day vacation.

Hats of to the two owners who own multiples locations throughout Mexico. Your team truly loves what they are doing and it resonates through the experience they are providing to your customers.

I would highly recommend Cabo Adventure to anyone looking to do ATV’s, Quads, Camel Riding, or Zip Lining.

Sincerely,

Anthony Graham

Amazing experience and a packed 4 hours. There had a small farm with sheep, goats, and a donkey with an educational component and lots of opportunities to interact with the animals. There was a tour guide who walked us through the process of making chocolate. The camel ride took us by the beach and it was beautiful. There was a professional photographer who took family and individual photos. FYI THE PHOTO PACKAGES ARE ALL AT LEAST $200 USD and cameras are not allowed around the camels. Our guide Sergio was hilarious and engaging. After our buffet dinner, we had a tortilla making demonstration and tequila tasting. We did the afternoon 2pm trip and by the time we ate and did the tequila tasting, we were able to watch the sunset.

Schedule-wise we were picked up 1:05-1:30pm, arrived on site around 2pm. All the activities lasted from 2-6pm. We arrived home around 6:30pm.

This is NOT worth your day. It’s almost an hour drive from Cabo San Lucas. 6 hours total for just over 20 minutes on Camel back.

Our tour guide Jorge was very nice and enthusiastic BUT….the one liners get very old and tiresome. Guests don’t need a constant stream of jokes. But we did like him a lot.

The big scam is that your not allowed to take your own pictures of the camels you ride. They do it for you and charge a complete fortune for access to them. We’re taking hundreds of dollars.

If you’re a foodie - you will not care for the luncheon food.

If you’re a tequila coneseurre- you will not be impressed with the tequila.

The whole experience was such a bad value we’re going to try and stay away from anything Cabo Adventures offers.

Here’s how they can make it better - double the length of the actual camel ride. Allow guest to take picture themselves when they are not on the camel (for safety reasons). Improve the food quality. Train the guide to be more authentic With fewer rehearsed one liners.

Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback, we will pass along your comments to the proper areas. The camel ride has a duration of 25 minutes approximately, starting from the platform where you mount the camel, through the desert, onto the beach, and back the same way, this is the ideal time for a camel ride for your own comfort and care of our camels. As you mentioned, cameras and cell phones are not allowed at the ride for safety reasons, guests must be holding on to the saddle with both hands at all times during the ride. Regarding the pictures, the money from the camel ride & photos not only covers for the care, maintenance, and enrichment for our camel family but also allows us to provide you with experienced, professional photographers and the best photography equipment to capture that once-in-a-lifetime moment. We hope to welcome you soon on an adventure that meets your preferences more accordingly. Feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns at info@cabo-adventures.com

We booked this tour on our cruise ship. The camels are about an hour out of Cabo. Our transportation to and from was provided in our tour purchased on the cruise ship. The people working there are so friendly and helpful. Our guides name was Chicas, he was welcoming, friendly ,informative, funny and lots of fun. They supply helmets that are hidden under the turbans. Camels are attached to each other and lead by a guide. You ride the camels for about a half hour on the beach. We were lucky enough to see whales jumping along the way. After the camel ride they teach you about camels and then you go on a bit of a nature walk as your guide explains about the local plants etc. Then we were treated to an authentic Mexican meal followed by tequila tasting. Along your adventure many photos are taken by the company and there is an opportunety to buy photo packages there. I think it was $60 to have all the pictures they took uploaded to your phone. Pictures included riding alog the beach and staged pictures with a camel "kissing" your cheek. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour, Well worth the money. Once in a lifetime thing to do. I would highly recommend.

NOT worth the money. I was looking forward to this and I wish I had a better review to offer but the truth is - it's not worth the time.

We booked in advance of arriving in Cabo which I fully regret, primarily because I was double billed, an error which the later fixed, and because once we arrived in Cabo we were offered a much cheaper rate (for exact same excursion) by a Tour promoter at the hotel.

We were picked up at 8:20 AM from our hotel lobby, shuttled to a meeting place not far from our resort. Where we sat around for a while waiting as they gathered up a few more people and than took us by bus to Cabo Adventure Camels. We arrived at 10AM, 1 hour 40 minutes... this is excessive and deceiving when they boost about being *about 45 minutes of travel time from Cabo San Lucas. I don't mind a few minutes, but an entire hour wasted before we even left town was ridiculous.

The $20. per person entrance fee is excessive as the park appears to be owned and operated exclusively by the Cabo Adventure tour company (BTW, a quick internet search will confirm this). An obvious cash grab.

First, the nonstop buzz of generators makes it hard to believe this is an Eco-Farm. Two of the 4 hours at the park were spent mostly standing around waiting. Other reviews mention meeting ponies and goats but we never saw them.

The camel ride, lunch and tequila tasking were good. The remainder of the time was just filler, appeared they are stalling for time to justify the price.

The photos were beautiful and ridiculously overpriced, we knew going it that they would be expensive and they were, VERY expensive.

Just NOT worth the amount of time and money for a 20 minute ride.

Excellent camel riding experience. Very well run and professional. A wonderful secluded beach. The photo package is well worth it to get those mandatory pictures for social media and includes a drone movie. All the camels are rescue animals. Good Covid-19 protocols are in place. As a bonus, there is a petting zoo for the kids with donkeys, goats, parrots, and chickens. Jorge was our camel guide. He was very informative and entertaining. I would highly recommend him and this excursion.

Naomi was a fantastic tour guide! However, I recommend booking with another company. Throughout the tour you are constantly having to take money out when you’ve already spent plenty to be there. There is a $20 entrance fee per person that you pay at arrival. This is nonsense, this park is through their company, there is not reason for there to be additional fees. You are not allowed to take photos when you are petting the camel they take you to see, because they want you to purchase their photos for $64! Again, you have paid for this excursion, it’s absurd to prohibit picture taking during an activity you paid for! Also they waste a lot of time during the tour. You spend 30- 40 minutes waiting to take pictures with two parrots. Then you spend 30-40 minutes waiting to have your photo taken with a camel (again, you are not allowed to take your own pictures with the camel). My suggestion is find a smaller company than Cabo Adventures. They are a tourist trap. If you’re looking for an authentic experience this isn’t it.

Thank you for taking the time to write your honest review about your experience, especially regarding the service you received from our team members. As you mentioned, for safety reasons our guests should be holding on to the saddle with both hands at all times during the ride, for this reason, it is not allowed to have a camera/phone in your hands. We have a small optional photo session in which our photography team will do a session for you, the use of cameras, Gopros, or any type of telephone is not allowed, but in the rest of the activities like Ecofarm, nature walk, and restaurant, you can use your devices. We are sorry to read that the eco-friendly and informative workshops were not of your liking, these friendly workshops are included in all our tours at Tierra Sagrada, you can find this information as well the additional charges in all our magazines, flyers and website. Feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns at info@cabo-adventures.com

We booked two outings with Cabo Adventures. Here are a few things we learned that might help improve your experience with them and their adventures. The first is if you are staying in the Puerto Los Cabos area any adventure you plan will take a minimum of 1.5 hrs each way to reach. That includes anything going out of Cabo San Lucas.

On the return trip back to your location you could add an hour to that number. Second, know that they won't treat you as a individual or family. You will be lumped into a group and that will impact your experience in two ways.

The first, the transportation is arranged to pick up passengers in the general vicinity. On the way to the Camel riding adventure they did a good job of arranging pickups at San Jose del Cabo hotels. On the way back they didn't. They group people together from Cabo and San Jose and that can add a significant amount of time to your long day.

As it relates to the Camel Riding outing. The guides are very entertaining and the adventure is fun but they will stick you at the end with the photo pricing, it's at least $100 for more photos than you'll want or need. If you try to buy individual photos the pricing are very high.

The second point, and this gets back to the comment that you are treated as "part of the group." We had booked a whale watching adventure. Because we were the furthest point away from the boat departure area in Cabo we were picked up first. When we got picked up the driver mentioned that it was a very windy day...several times.

Hearing his comments I said to my wife he's foreshadowing bad news. Sure enough after spending more than an hour in the van picking up other people who had booked adventures out of Cabo we found out our trip had been cancelled. Forget about customer service that you are used to in the US. There are no apologies or accommodations for wasting your time.

I appreciate that they take safety into account but this was particularly painful for us because it wasted 3 hrs of our last day. Something that could have been easily corrected with a phone call to the event coordinator at our hotel before the pickup which wasn't until 10:40 am given them plenty of time.

Bottom line - the adventures are fun...if they happen, the logistics and travel are not.

We took the afternoon excursion. We took an air conditioned tour bus from the pier for a 40 min. drive to the ranch. At the main welcome center which is an open air pavilion, there are restrooms and a small souvenir stand where you could also purchase bottled water or soft beverages. Our group waited there for about 10 minutes before our guide took us on a short walk to the corral. All riders are fitted with safety helmets and there is ample padding on the camel saddles. Mounting is done from a wooden deck at level with the camel's back. Assuming you can climb the stairs and swing your leg over, you would not have difficulty mounting the camel. We had several older folks and one with a cane who were able to ride the camel. The camel ride was very enjoyable and lasted approx. 20 minutes (actually on the camel). Additional time was spent listening to our guide talk about camels and waiting in line for our camels to mount up. The camels are led by guides on a slow walk to the beach, then a short distance (the distance of an average city block for the round trip) up and back along the shore. During the ride there is a photographer and drone operator taking photos of the participants. After dismounting, all riders are given a photo op with a camel wearing a brightly tasseled bridal. After this time there is a 10 minute meandering "nature"walk from the corral to an outdoor covered pavilion. Our guide frequently stopped to point out local flora and to ask our group if there were questions, or if anyone wanted photos with cactus. We ate a tasty buffet lunch at the pavilion, where your guide gives you a quick demo on how corn is ground for tortillas, and tasting of 3 tequilas. Surprisingly there was no pitch to purchase the liquor and the guide was agreeable to serving an additional shot glass of tequila when asked. The photos and video of your camel ride are prepared at this time and available for purchase at your option. We paid about $64 for the entire photo/video package on CD-Rom. USB was also available for about $19 more. After lunch we walked back to the corral, where 4x4 off-road trucks were parked. The group climbed up into the back of the covered trucks and was driven about 100 yards back to the welcome center. This was the only disappointing part of the excursion. It took longer to load everyone into the truck than the "outback" ride itself. This part of the excursion was described as a "short ride in the Tierra Sagrada on the Pacific coast in your 4x4 off-road vehicle". Technically the tour description doesn't say how long the 4x4 ride is (maybe 3 minutes for us), but we weren't the only ones in the group who felt cheated. We seemed to be the last group leaving the parking lot that day, so I wondered if our excursion was cut short?
