We had a great time on our ATV ride. It was a kick in the butt!! We traveled in groups of 15 people. Visited a swim hole in the jungle, stopped for lunch, and afterwards we enjoyed the Tequila tasting. So much fun!

Dear guest, Greetings from Mr. Sancho’s Cozumel! Unfortunately this review does not belong to our TripAdvisor page. We advertised our ATV tours through our website and our internet partners, we do not have excursions offer through the Royal Caribbean or any other cruise line. Moreover, our ATV tour only last 30 minutes not 3 1/2 hours, not to mention our trials are made from sand dunes vs rocky paths. Dear guest: We highly regret the accident that your family member had on the ATV tour, who apparently was your husband. On your review you mentioned things that are not true, and on the other part you are not telling the situation as it happened. Your family member was on the ATV tour, which is done through the jungle and mangrove trials, same trails that we use everyday for our tours, and what happened here is that when your relative rounded a curve on top of the dune, he was unable to control the vehicle and crashed into a tree. As soon as we knew of the accident, one of our supervisors and the paramedic went to the scene, first and foremost to give emergency assistance if needed but fortunately he only had scrapes, slight blows and a bleeding earlobe due to a pulled earring without any significant inconvenience. Once we made sure that the driver was out of danger, we proceeded to check the ATV that was seriously damaged, we actually thought it was a total loss. And since all our ATV’s are manufactured by the Yamaha company and that’s where we do all the maintenance, we took pictures and we sent them to the Yamaha Shop in order to get a quote on the damage parts and the ATV repair. They quoted $49,000 pesos the entire repair that are $2,500 USD approximately and not $4,900 USD as you mentioned, yet trying not to affect you, we let you paid us just $2,000 USD which is way less than the vehicle damage. The ATV driver, that appeared to be your husband, agreed upon paying the damages, however you refused and when you finally decided to pay with your credit card, you wanted someone else to sign the voucher but the bank requires us the card holder's signature, on this case you had to sing the voucher. On our part, we always tried to be kind with you and your husband, unfortunately on your part that wasn’t the case with our supervisors who wanted to assist you in finding the best solution to fix the issue, they even made the decision on their own to only charge you $2,000 USD instead of the $2,500 USD that was the total value of ATV repair. Moreover, it is incorrect to say that you were surrounded by 10 people of our staff, we have all the evidence on our surveillance system and we don’t wish to make them public out of respect to you and your family. We truly regret the whole incident and everything that happened but we are glad that the ATV driver emerged unscathed and unharmed and that the entire family is back home safe and sound.
