Chichen Itza, Ik Kil Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch
Visit Chichen Itza and Valladolid on a full-day tour from Cancun that includes a swim stop at Cenote Ik Kil. Visiting these destinations is a great way to explore ancient Maya ruins, nature, and a traditional Yucatan city. You'll stroll past towering pyramids, check out Maya sculptures, swim in an underground river, and walk colonial-era streets. A traditional buffet lunch is included, along with round-trip transport from Cancun.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your Cancun hotel, and begin the trip to Chichen Itza in a climate-controlled vehicle. Upon arrival at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, join a guide for a 2.5-hour narrated tour, taking in the Pyramid of Kukulkan, an astronomical observatory, a sacrificial pit, and more.

As you walk, learn the stories and culture behind the intricate carvings and then enjoy some independent time to take photos and explore the ruins on your own. Following your time at Chichen Itza, cool off with a swim in a fresh water cenote, a natural underground swimming pool, and refuel with a buffet lunch.

Next, continue to the colorful town of Valladolid, the center of which is filled with beautifully preserved buildings from the colonial era. After visiting Valladolid, this tour concludes with return transfer to your hotel in Cancun.
