Nov 2021 • Couples
Carlos was an absolute amazing tour host and was such a wealth of information, even though he thinks he talks to much!!! Amazing town with super friendly people and so much history, couldn’t get enough of it. Coffee plantation was crazy with the fruits and birds, not just coffee!!!
Lunch was so good I couldn’t stop eating then the most amazing tequila was sampled, and I’ll tell you if you don’t like tequila Eduardo Sanchez will change your mind with the most amazing orange liquor. I’m so sorry that I can not remember the drivers name but he was absolutely perfect driver/host, always making sure everyone had something to drink. Thank you all for an amazing day in an amazing place.

Long ride to San Sebastian
Dec 2020
After stops at the bakery with Discover Tours (do not use them), we finally arrived at our destination, the town of San Sebastian for guided tour of the church and town. The tour was a bit weak, although I did appreciate going to the town because it reminded me of my time in Colombia, however overall it was a long day and knowing what I know now, I would not go on that tour again.

Taste of history
Nov 2021 • Friends
Enjoyed a full day exploring a gorgeous old silver mining town. On the the way we enjoyed pastries, coffee, tequila. Gustavo was our guide and provided intimate knowledge of the town and Aztec history too. If your looking for a historical and cultural tour this is it. Just be prepared for walking on old cobblestones. Bring pesos since there are no credit cards accepted.

Escape the hustle and bustle in this tour of magical San Sebastian del Oeste
Oct 2021
Our tour guide was Tomas....Tommy. Tommy was patient and informative. We toured a tequila ranch and coffee plantation, which was followed by a scrumptious lunch in San Sebastian del Oeste. Afterwards, Tommy walked us through the entire town of San Sebastian del Oeste....not just the main street, but throughout this magical town. We saw how the people lived, how they worked (an actual silversmith's shop), and how they make a wonderful life in San Sebastian. Nice and easy, relaxing day with a pleasant and easygoing tour guide. Highly recommended venture during your Puerto Vallarta vacation.

Wonderful day trip!
Our tour guide was Gustavo and he did an excellent job. He was very informative & funny. We had a great trip. It is a long day but so worth it. The family style lunch was delicious. We had two tequila tastings, one on the way to San Sebastián & one on the way back. The tour of the town was great & we had an hour to walk around on our own. I highly recommend the tequila ice cream from the little cafe/store.

Carlos did an excellent job of narrating the trip. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Both my husband and I enjoyed the trip immensely. Recommend this tour to those that want to see the countryside. The food was fantastic as well! My husband loved the tequila stop!

Great Authentic Tequila, Food, and Scenic History
Jul 2021
Our tour guide Jesus was great. We had a nice walking tour through San Sebastian del Oeste for almost an entire day, which included visiting a little tequila shop and dining at a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The food here was very authentic and delicious. It was a highlight of our trip. San Sebastian del Oeste had many cool facts about the city and history and is very beautiful. There was a gift shops area too so you can buy cool souvenirs here. For an activity that was a day trip, it was well worth the experience.

Great day tour of a local historical town and several roadside attractions on the way there
We took a day away from the beach and headed to the hills for an excursion.

Carlos, our guide, was entertaining and well-versed in the history of Puerto Vallarta, San Sebastian, and every point in between...as well as, the local plants many uses.

We stopped frequently and sampled local fruit that was exotic to us from roadside stands or even picked fresh of the trees by our guide.

A stop at a tortilleria afforded us a taste of authentic Mexico. Then off to a small distillery for a look at the tequila manufacturing process along with tasting of exceptional tequila and liqueur tasting for those so inclined. Smooth. Another stop and micro tour at an organic coffee farm gave us more local history and samples of rich, deliciouscoffee.

Arriving in San Sebastian we had a terrific lunch and a tour of the town. All through the day Carlos educated and entertained us, allowing time for us to ask questions and explore.

Our tour group was small and friendly.

I highly recommend this tour when your looking for an exploration of parts of Puerto Vallarta away from the beaches and tourists.
