    What to Expect
Explore the Caribbean waters at your own pace with full-day access to non-motorized water sports from kayaks to inflatables. Upon arrival at the kiosk on Junkanoo Beach, the local guide will conduct a safety demonstration which will cover proper use of equipment and safety rules and restrictions that are set by the Bahamas Port Department while operating all non-motorized watercrafts.

Upon completion of the safety demo you will be given a wristband to indicate your inclusion into the water sports activities. Based on availability, all water sports equipment can be used for the duration of the beach day until closing time. The kiosk is open from 10am to 5pm and the package grants you access to the equipment for all 7 hours. This package includes full-day access to single kayaks, double kayaks, snorkel gear, paddle boards, water trampoline, inflatables, beach volleyball and soccer balls.

We just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas and had been so excited to visit Bahama Kayak with our kids. We walked down from the cruise port and were very disappointed to see how dirty the beach was. There was trash everywhere. Drink cans, glass bottles, food wrappers, etc..

Hello Tonya, Junkanoo Beach is a public beach where daily cruise ship passengers utilize in droves. As vendors we attempt to clean up after guests as best we can however , each day handling thousands of guests who produce garbage and may litter indiscriminately may be a challenge which vendors cannot do alone. We try our best, but being a public beach and NOT a resort has its challenges. One of which lies in the fact that although we may clean the beach and remove all trash up to closing time at 5 pm. In the morning at 10 a.m. when we open to no surprise there may be trash present that was put there from any other source. The fact is we do all that we can to ensure that the area immediately around our kiosk is always clean and sanitary, and as usually there are grounds keepers who wouldve have the beach clean by 11 am each day. We apologize for the appearance on the date and time you visited and would do our endeavor best to keep the beach as pristine as possible.

Renters beware! If you are considering trying the Stand up Paddle Board, one of them has a huge hole in it and they have done nothing to repair. My husband fell while on the board and his foot got stuck in the hold and it ripped his toenail off. These guys didn't even offer him
