Great experience
Jul 2021
If you're interested in history and want to know more about the island and its people, this tour is definitely a must. Nascha, who proved to be a great host, took me on a trip around the island and showed me some very interesting locations, that have given me more insight in how the island came to be as it is now. Very passionate host that always makes sure to have an answer to your questions. Also can't forget about the amazing lemongrass tea and banana bread. Thank you Nascha for an unforgettable experience!

Fun and Informative Tour
Jun 2021
My family and I had the pleasure of taking this tour with Nasha of Seagrape Tours at the beginning of our trip to St. Martin. We always enjoy learning a bit of the history of the places we visit. Nasha was an excellent teacher - clearly knowledgeable and passionate about St. Maarten and its people. We learned a lot and had a fantastic morning while seeing the sites. We also enjoyed Nasha's homemade lemongrass tea and banana bread. We talked about various things we learned throughout our trip and enjoyed returning to some of the places we were introduced to by Nasha. This is a "must do" if you want to learn a bit about this wonderful island nation. Thank you Nasha for the education!

A Terrific Tour of St. Maarten/St. Martin
Dec 2019
On December 30, 2019, my wife Sherri and I booked the history tour of St. Maarten/St. Martin with Seagrape Tours. The tour could not have been better with a fantastic knowledgeable guide, a comfortable van and appropriately paced visits to well-chosen locations. The price is very reasonable and the small group experience is important to us. I would highly recommend Seagrape Tours when visiting St. Maarten/St. Martin!

Great introductory tour of the island of St. Marten. Tour guide was interesting and informative, with many great stories about the island. The small group size of only 5 people made the tour much more personal. Homemade banana bread and lemongrass tea were a nice final touch.

Great tour
Mar 2020
This was a terrific tour. Dave is well versed in history of the island and the Caribbean in general and I learned a lot. We drove to several key spots learning broad spectrum of things from political history to geography, economy or even hydrogeology. Also because Dave and his family live on the island, he was able to share and to show us a bit of the real life on the island, away from the tourist areas. Like a local park where kids play or a museum collecting local plants and creatures. Our group was small - just 3 of us, allowing for great interactions. Highly recommended tour.

Outstanding !!
Feb 2020 • Couples
My wife and I did a half day tour around the island with David, having arrived for the day on a cruise ship. We saw and learned so much in a short space of time. David is an excellent guy with immense knowledge and the tour was great value particularly as on this occasion there was only my wife & I - it was a private tour.
We are very prolific travellers and rate the tour with David as amongst the very best we’ve undertaken anywhere in the world.

Best tour on the Island!
Jan 2020 • Couples
The story on StMaarten is really interesting. David is a excellent storyteller and can almost answer every question. It was a Good balance between listening and exploring.
The only regret we have is that we did the tour on the last day of our holiday instead on the first day.

We took the history tour with a group of 6 from our cruise ship. This was very close up and covered areas that weren't heavily populated with tourists. It was an interesting way to see most of the island and we would highly recommend the tour company. It was easy to meet up from the cruise port.

Feb 2020
David is very knowledgeable about the island history, both the French and Dutch sides. We found the tour to be extremely informative and interesting. There were 4 of us in a van with David, which made it very personable. He took us to some amazingly beautiful sites. This was a great tour that we won't forget and highly recommend it to others. Thank you David!
