Meet your guide and group at the Deshaies marina at 7:45 am, to depart no later than 8 am. We will start with a brief introduction of the 17 species of whales you may encounter, before we start looking for them. Your passionate, bilingual guide will welcome you and make you feel comfortable for the entire duration of the tour. We ask you to be patient, as we never know how long it will take to spot a wild animal in its natural habitat.
After your captain has found the whales with the help of everyone on board using a hydrophone and binoculars, you will get explanations from the guide, while tgetting the opportunity to take pictures. Different educational tools will be provided such as a hydrophone for the acoustic tracking of the cetaceans, headphones to hear the sounds emitted by the cetaceans, and leaflets with illustrations of the cetaceans, and educational boards on the different species of our region. You will also be able to listen to the whale sounds with a sound system. For your comfort, drinks will be offered, and children will get snacks (water, juice, and alcoholic beverages are served on board).
