Overview
Aruba has spectacular snorkeling areas and scenery, but sailing the coast in a pirate-themed schooner is an unforgettable twist that’s fun for all ages. On this sailing and snorkeling tour, sail between three snorkel and swim spots including a WWII-era German shipwreck that's fascinating to explore but difficult to find alone. Tailor your itinerary by opting to swim, snorkel, sunbathe, or launch from the boat's rope swing at each stop. Plus, an open bar lets you stay hydrated throughout the day.

Highlights
  • Enjoy a mix of sunny and shady deck space
  • Teak decks and schooner rigging make for amazing photos
  • Sip drinks from the open bar
  • Snorkel at three sites for a great overview of Aruba’s coral and wildlife
  • Chance to see a historic shipwreck in shallow water
What to Expect
Make your way to MooMba Beach, in Berea di Piscado, where you’ll meet the crew of a pirate schooner that’s fully equipped for adventure. Find a comfortable seat on the teak sun deck or in the shade, and kick off the sail with a drink from the open bar. You’ll stop at a series of three sites, with the option to swim and snorkel at each destination. The first snorkeling site is Malmok, where calm water and plentiful wildlife makes it a favorite for beginning snorkelers. Next, head to Boca Catalina, where elk coral, brain coral, and barrel sponges might hide angel fish and brilliant green parrot fish. The third snorkel site is the remarkable shipwreck SS Antilla, a WWII-era German cargo ship that protrudes from the clear, shallow water. This sailing trip can be as active or laid-back as you want, with the option to snorkel, swim, play, or relax at each site, and access to the open bar throughout. The excursion concludes at the original departure point.

We did the afternoon snorkel because we're not morning people. Possibly fewer fish to see than the am snorkel, but we still saw some good variety. The snorkeling is nice and getting to swim over the shipwreck is cool - but it's really the "jolly" crew and the pirate swing that

We have sailed with the Pirates at least 15 times and they never let us down! It is always our favorite day of vacation. The beautiful ship, the awesome snorkeling, the Pirates poison, the rope swing, and the fun dance party on the way back make for the perfect day. We have

I’ve visited Aruba 22 times and I have never done a Jolly Pirates cruise. I’m so glad my friends on the beach invited me to join them. This tour was SO much fun! We visited 2 great snorkel spots. I saw a sea turtle, barracuda, hermit crab, and at least a dozen different species
