      Great Sake Experience
Had a wonderful experience doing this tasting. We learned a lot about sake itself and got to try ten different ones. Left with knowledge to use on the rest of our trip and a great memory! Location meant afterwards we could easily wander around Dotonbori.

Discover your favourite style of Nihonshu
This was a great experience, and really helped me understand my preferred style and taste of nihonshu. With such a vast array of nihonshu in Japan, this experience will ensure you can understand and order nihonshu with much more confidence during your time here. Yuko-san is great - very friendly, funny and obviously very knowledgeable about what she does. The perfect host!

      Sake and snacks!
Yuko was amazing! Had such a blast with our group - we learned so much about sake that we can take back to the states with us! I considered myself a fan of sake but I really got to develop a taste for what I like. The snacks were tasty and the sake was all AMAZING!

Really enjoyed this experience, yousuke is very friendly and provides an interesting history about the origins of matcha tea ceremony.

Good opportunity to observe the tea making ceremony, tasting Japanese sweets and practice making matcha tea ourselves too.

Would recommend this as an activity in Osaka, especially if it’s raining outside as it’s an indoor activity

A beautifully orchestrated and extremely humbling first-time experience with Japanese tea ceremonies. The organiser (Yousuke) was friendly and led the ceremony beautifully; whilst also providing an informative/ interesting history on Japanese tea ceremonies, delicious (seasonal!) sweets and extremely high-quality matcha.

Greatly appreciate Yousuke accepting our last minute booking as well. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Osaka. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The introduction to the tea ceremony is an experience that I recommend if you pass through Osaka. Sakura greeted us on a red carpet (literally) to teach us the history and process of the famous tea ceremony. The private ceremony is not very expensive for the experience, 4500 yen per person. It takes place in three stages, story, demonstration, and making your own tea. Very satisfying and relaxing experience.

We did the private tea ceremony and it was gorgeous! Our hosts were warm and welcoming and we learnt about the ritual and were shown how the ceremony is performed, and we tried beautiful matcha and desserts before making our own. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Perfect English was spoken to us (unfortunately we can't speak Japanese)

The tea ceremony was relaxing and joyful. I visited together with my wife and I could experience more of japanese culture. Mayumi was the best teacher and answered all our questions and took her time to show us how traditional tea ceremony works.
This is not only for japanese but for everyone who is interested in learning more about japanese culture and heritage.
    Definitely recommend to visit :)

We had a great time with Maiyumi who led the tea ceremony. After an initial background on the tea ceremony in Japan, Maiyumi showed us how the ceremony is led, and we were able to practice how to serve the tea. Informative and fun session, we'd highly recommend it to others. Perfect location wise as well in the center of Osaka and Dotonbori.

I love how simple and easy it was to follow, the teacher was good at presenting both the tea ceremony’s history and also showing how to. It was so fascinating how they prepare the ceremony, it’s like a beautiful, refined dance. They spend many years training to do the ceremony and this place really showed the effort and time put into this, it was wonderful, and they were so nice and answered alle questions and helped taking pictures. I recommend!

We loved our authentic tea ceremony class located a short walk from Dontonbori. It was a small class so we got to experience a less touristy attraction while taking a break from the busy city streets. We found the class to be so peaceful and we also had a short introduction before we made our match tea. Would certainly recommend!
