Overview
The Yamatane Museum of Art is the first Japanese art museum in Japan that opened in 1966, based on the personal collection of Yamagata Taneji, the founder of Yamatane Securities. This ticket is for an exhibition held from January 3 to March 1, 2020. [Special Exhibition Commemorating a Decade since the Yamatane Museum of Art Opened in Hiroo:Uemura Shōen and World of Bijinga, Paintings of Beautiful Women] at Yamatane Museum of Art. You can enjoy Works of nihonga. There is also a museum shop and café on site.In the first floor lobby “Cafe Tsubaki”, you can enjoy the traditional Japanese sweets and maccha.You can purchase original goods featuring the works of the Yamatane Museum at the museum shop in the basement exhibition room. In this museum, you can enjoy Japanese art including Japanese paintings. Date: January 3 (Fri)-March 1 (Sun), 2020 Closed day: Monday * Closed on 14 January, 25 February and on Mondays except for 13 January and 24 February. Opening hours: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Admission until 4:30 pm)
