Overview
Biking through the busy streets of Tokyo can seem intimidating, and the roads can be confusing. On this bike tour, your guide—a former professional cyclist—leads at a relaxed pace and helps you make your way through traffic and crowded areas comfortably and easily. Plus, this tour also takes you to the top of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building for 360-degree views over Tokyo.
Highlights
  • Stay active and get some exercise while visiting Tokyo on this biking tour
  • Cover 20 miles (32 kilometers) of Tokyo with a professional cyclist guide
  • Your guide leads you down the busy city’s hidden alleys and side streets
  • Bike and helmet rental are included for your convenience and safety
  • Book ahead to reserve your spot on the day you want
What to Expect
Meet your small tour group in central Tokyo. Your guide, who provides a bike and helmet for the ride, knows the best ways around the busy city streets, and ensures that everyone is cycling at a comfortable and safe pace. Along the route, ride through Tokyo’s side streets and hidden alleys, and stop at several shrines, including the famous Meiji Shrine. If you’re on this tour during spring, you’re likely to see cherry blossoms in Yoyogi Park, too. Other places you cycle through are Roppongi Hills, Aoyama Cemetery, Tokyo Imperial Palace, Zojo-ji, and the Shinjuku district. Stop to purchase a bento-box lunch (own expense) at a local market. One of your last stops is at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, where you take the elevator 48 floors to the top for stunning views over the city. Your biking tour ends at the original starting point.

First full day in Tokyo, indeed Japan and what a great way to start. Gaku the guide firstly made sure both the bike and helmet were a good fit before the tour, was very informative during the tour, and also provided clear directional instructions whilst cycling. Definitely
