Located 13 miles southeast of Grand Rapids, Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) is Michigan's second busiest airport. It handled about 2.3 million passengers in 2014. The airport has three runways and one passenger terminal with two concourses and a total of 15 gates. Six airlines – Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways Express – fly between GRR and more than 20 destinations across the United States, including Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul. Passenger amenities at GRR include ATMs, free WIFI internet, restaurants, bars, a shoeshine stand, a newsstand/gift shop and meeting room rentals.
