Located three miles south of the city, Boise Airport (BOI) is jointly used by both the military and civil aviation. Also known as Gowen Field, the airport is home to the Idaho Air National Guard. It also serves as a focus city for Horizon Air. Other carriers operating at Boise Airport are Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines. About 2.6 million passengers used the airport in 2014. Boise Airport consists of three runways and a single passenger terminal with two concourses and 23 gates. Airport amenities include restaurants, retail stores, ATMs, a shoeshine stand, free WIFI internet, art collections, a conference center and charging stations.
