Serving the Texas capital and surrounding metropolitan area, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is located five miles north of downtown Austin. Fourteen commercial airlines fly between AUS and about 50 destinations in the United States and Europe. Among those carriers: American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines. In 2013, the airport handled about 10.7 million passengers. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport consists of two runways, three helipads and one operating passenger terminals. In keeping with Austin's reputation for live music, the airport has several venues that frequently host live musical performances. Other airport amenities include retail shops, fast-food and sit-down restaurants, free WIFI internet, art exhibits, ATMs, a shoeshine stand and massage services.
