China's 10th busiest airport when measured by passenger traffic, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) is located about 27 kilometers east of downtown Hangzhou. In 2014, about 25.1 million passengers traveled through the airport, which has been designated a focus city by Air China, China Southern Airlines and Xiamen Airlines. In total, more than 40 carriers fly between HGH and destination across China, as well as points elsewhere in Asia, Africa and Europe. Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has two runways and three passenger terminals. Ground transportation options include several local and intercity bus routes as well as shuttles and taxis.
