Located along the border of Switzerland and France, and about three miles from downtown Geneva, Geneva International Airport (GVA) is the second busiest airport in Switzerland. Previously known as Cointrin Airport, GVA handled 14.4 million passengers in 2013. The airport serves as a hub for easyJet Switzerland and Etihad Regional, and as a focus city for Swiss International Air Lines. Passengers can fly non-stop between GVA and destinations across Europe, as well as points across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America. The airport has two runways and two passenger terminals. Passenger services and amenities include restaurants, retail stores, banking facilities, conference rooms, free WIFI internet, luggage storage, dry cleaning, a meditation room, showers and a children's play area.
