I booked a flight to Lisbon to do a ½ ironman in Cascais . I provisionally booked a bike box on at the same time . 2 weeks out from travelling I rang to confirm that my bike box was approved. No not a chance as the plane is too small. The agent was an unhelpful ignoramus and his undertone was shocking . Most unhelpful POS I ever had to deal with . So they will book your flight, provisionally book your bike box & then leave you unconditionally stranded as their planes are to small . Absolute nightmare . I also must mention o. A previous trip my bike went missing in Lisbon on a connecting flight to Spain. A disaster of a company . I'm surprised they are still in business.…

Should have flown to Manchester on 15th Sept 2024, we received a text stating flight cancelled home for four passengers. Cost over £1000 with alternative airline to get home. This company is not fit to operate.

Do you know the feeling that you do everything correct and it doesn’t matter? You can feel with TAP. We followed all their instructions, we came in boarding time correctly, but they refused us because of nothing. They didn’t accept any argument, because bus was o flight had gone and have not any other. Newer TAP. After communication with many people working for TAP we think that the manner of communication is the result of brainwashing of employees. But anyway the worst experience with flying company. DO NOT book with TapAir!- notified me 2 hours before take off that my connecting flight was delayed 24 hours which made me miss my hotel reservation and booked trains! Half the people at my gate had no idea they were going to be stuck in Lisbon for 24 hours. I paid for 1 checked bag on each flight and they told me they couldn’t find the reservation for my bag EVEN AFTER showing them the receipt!!!! Every other flight after that, found my checked bag reservation with no issue. Refuses to refund you. Customer service is 0 help. This is equivalent to flying with Spirit.…

After reading all the terrible reviews about TAP, we were nervous about our round trip flights from Toronto to Lisbon. We needn't have worried as we were more than pleasantly surprised with our experience. The flights themselves were really easy - the first leaving on time and the return, even though it departed 20 minutes late, still arrived 10 minutes before the original scheduled time. The seats in economy had more leg room than most airlines and the meals were actually quite nice - much better than most of the major carriers. There was a large selection of in flight entertainment. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not five is because the cabin crew could have been a little friendlier, but that's not really a big deal. I would definitely fly on TAP again and highly recommend it.…
