If I can offer any advice is that DONT BOOK with SAA express. This airline is NEVER on time and cites technical fault for its delays. I refuse to fly with them anymore as a 5 hour delay is a mere everyday experience. SAA ( the Big planes) are fine and usually on time. However for my personal travel, I...

One of the Best International Flights I have experienced with really awesome food and service. It was a 9 hours Flight and the attendants made sure I was conferrable all the time, The service was quick, neat and respectful. while on-board passengers were taken good care off. The attendants had good helpful attitude and polite language. No negatives from my...

Travelled to Victoria falls then back to joberg. South African airways were superb. One of the best airlines we have ever travelled with staff were so helpful and friendly. Plane was spotless with comfortable seats and amazing food. Our national airline British airways could learn a lot from South African airways because they are 1.000 times better than them especially...

First time to fly with SAA and wouldnt rush back. Positves....good food and drink friendly service..negatives...not much space, my husbands tv screen didnt work on the return flight not brilliant film choice compared to some airlines, no usb chargers. The planes just felt a little old and tired. Their phone app is as good as useless too. I cannot click...

Flight was OK, however SAA misplaced my luggage on a journey from Maputo to Jo'burg and their lack of support and service to rectify their mistake was embarrassing.

This was a new A380 plane. Business class has made huge changes, however we did not find the trip comfortable at all. To begin with the elderly air hostess on board was rude upon entering the plane. She seemed rather stressed and in a hurry to get people out of the way. I could not get to my seat as...

Who would have thunk it but it turns out SAA is a terrible airline. It takes cheapness to another level. The planes are modern but the seats are worse than a park bench and the food is inedible. I was prepared to forgive them for the Dar to Joburg leg but it was just as bad coming back. The TV...

Have flown several flights recently. Two long haul from and to London two shorter to Livingstone and one internal. Shorter flights were good. Older planes but okay and sandwich or full meal provided depending on time of day. Long haul from London was good. New plane and comfortable. In flight entertainment a little limited but okay. Meals satisfactory without being...
