My husband and I took the Azores Airlines from Toronto Pearson airport to Lisbon Portugal We were actually on board and we were on the tarmac for 2 hours due to mechanical issue. Then when we finally arrived at our connecting flight in Ponta Delgada azores we were not informed that the flight was delayed. Only when we got to...

Last year we enjoyed the AzoresGetaways week in Terceira. The classic A310 left on time and arrived on time, both ways. It is not a comfortable plane, and old, but the flights went fine. This year we flew to Ponta Delgada on a pretty new A321. Flight over was fine; however, the return flight was 4.5 hours late. As we...

Both flights delayed. Old, old planes need updating. No legroom, only one bathroom in service, no entertainment screens working, no pillows/blankets offered on overnight flight. Extremely dated. Food was mediocre but the stewards were adequate if not the friendliest.

Management/customer service in Toronto is horrible to deal with, the manager is pretty much useless. The flight was delayed twice, we lost days on our week long vacation because of this airline. Would never recommend to anyone, or will ever use again, and when you do get laid over in another city, don’t expect any extra perks from them, just...

My son and I took four, separate flights with Sata, in October. They are an OK carrier, as long as your expectations are low. the good: you are permitted 1 free, piece of checked luggage; you get a complimentary meal; you get complementary wine ( after all, it IS a Portuguese carrier ); you can get advance seat assignments. the...

The flight over wasn't too bad, but we were surprised, that although it was an overnight flight, there were no blankets, pillows, or eye masks. Most flights like this also have toothbrushes. If we'd known, we could have brought some of our own things. We left late, but made up time so arrived on time. The food was mediocre, but...

We had flawless experience with Sata Airlines previously and now with Azores Airlines. Service is amazing and professional, very clean in cabin, food is above average and free very delicious Portuguese wine. From Ponta Delgada we also had flight to Funchal, Madeira on a small plane and again, no complaints at all. Always on time.

We left Boston Logan airport about 930 at night and at 3:30 Boston time we landed in the Azores Portugal. We had to take our hand luggage plus carry-ons off the plane down the steps into the terminal & wait while they cleaned the plane and then reload again about 45 minutes later. When we left Lisbon to return to...

Read reviews before we flew and was concerned. Our flights were uneventful, on time and staff was very professional. Plus it was cool to stop in the azores.

The level of disrespect by the airline for us as paying customers and complete absence of information was appalling. Despite multiple follow-ups to customer care, the airline has NEVER responded substantively in the seven weeks since we complained. No notification of cancellation. At approximately 8am on 16 September 2018, my travelling companion and I arrived in Lisbon on a different...
