Airline Summary

Based in Muscat, Oman Air (WY) is the national airline of Oman. It flies non-stop to more than 40 destinations in 23 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe. Oman Air's fleet of aircraft consists primarily of two-cabin (Business Class and Economy Class) airplanes and three-cabin (First Class, Business Class and Economy Class) configurations. Although not part of an airline alliance, Oman Air does have codeshare agreements with five other carriers. The airline's primary hub is located at Muscat International Airport (MCT).

Great flights with a great airline

I found Oman Air to be an excellent airline overall. The cabin crews on each of my 4 flights were among the best I've ever encountered. Seat comfort was outstanding on both the single aisle and widebody aircraft. The on board catering was truly superb on all of the segments ex-Muscat and acceptable on the one that originated in BKK. The lounge in Muscat had some of the best service I have ever received. Great food, great bar, and you can get a barista pulled expresso. What made all of this even better by being able to get a great price directly from the airline.

WORSE AIRLINE DO NOT FLY WITH

WORSE AIRLINE INTHE WORLD WE NEVER BEEN INSIDE IT. IN BOTH LEGS OF THE TRIP WE MISSED OUR CONNECTION FLIGHT BECAUSE AIR MALASIA BEEN LATE INTHE RETURN THEY CANCELED OUR FLIGHT ALL TOGETHER RAND REFUSED US MEALS OR OVER NIGHT ACCOMODATIONS WE SPENT 18 HOURS AT THE AIR PORT AND 36 HOURS WITH OUT SLEEPING

Overbooked

I bought tickets several weeks ago and arrived for checkin to find the flight had been ‘overbooked’ spent a couple of stressful hours at the airport trying to find an alternative before being sent off via taxi to a very budget hotel to wait 14 hours for next available. No acknowledgement that my missed connection flight went up 3.5x to rebook within 24 hours

Worst airlines # OMAN AIR

One of the worst airlines i have booked my family on . Today 02.01.2024 my wife and daughter were supposed to travel from GOA ( GOI ) to KWI ( Kuwait ) , the flight was supposed to depart at 4.15 pm ... Oman air sent us NO prior information either by email , SMS , phone call or any sort of notification indicating the change in the fligh timings to make things worse . The seats were just allocated to other passangers even though we were present there and the on ground staff was totally unprofessional nor supprotive ,,, truly a sad way of doing bussiness #oman air

Cabin crew we're kind, genuine and lovely, they gave me extra food when I asked, and offered to bring me some tea from business class since they had ran out in economy, the flight was smooth, and the entertainment was good, and had an ok selection of movies. we landed safely. on the way back the lounge attendant kindly offered to take my friend in for free since my card's guest allowance was used up. on the return flight, the crew were once again super kind and amazing, we were delayed for 30 minutes since the inbound flight encountered some weather, but they gave out snacks and water ounce we were onboard and apologised, all is forgiven, thanks oman air for the amazing flight and wonderful Omani hospitality ___________________________ I dont understand why I see so many bad reviews, can everyone just think before posting, we are all human, we all make mistakes, the important part is that Oman air did their job, they took you from point A to point B safely. - do you think the cabin crew are partying and dancing during a delay? NO, so dont go and yell at them and bother them, its childish - do you think that you can sit in business class and be better than all the 120 passengers in economy just because you vomited? NO, the fact that they gave you free juice is already kind of them. - you can't blame oman air for damaged bags, even though the people actually handling and touching the bags are the AIRPORT STAFF and NOT OMAN AIR?, why do you think they wont compensate you? If you want to travel in luxury and style, be better than eveyone else and be treated like royalty, then buy your own private plane.
