Don’t fly emirates
Birmingham - MahebourgInternational
Most horrible experience we’ve had ever. Awful food. Awful flight service. Awful service. Check in a nightmare. Flight crew miserable. Try getting a drink… no chance! One glass of wine with food, that’s it! Don’t even think about asking for anything! Another drink…. No chance. Boarding a joke. Can’t hear a thing announcing wise. I’d seriously consider other long haul airlines. Staff are so reluctant. Chaotic boarding/exit. I’m afraid I thought emirates were class , not anymore. Back with them on 25 th dreading it even though just arrived!

Terrible Experience - Worst Airline I've Traveled With
Dubai - LondonInternational
I had the worst experience with this airline. Not only did they damage my stroller during my flight, but the customer service was horrendous. I reported the damage at the airport immediately, but I was left waiting for THREE MONTHS with no communication from the airline despite my continuous follow-ups. I was forced to purchase a new stroller, and after all the waiting and chasing, they flat-out refused to reimburse me for the damage they caused. The lack of accountability and poor customer service is truly disappointing. I will never be flying with this airline again, and I highly recommend others consider alternatives.

shocking Customer Service. Arrogant and unhelpful
Hong Kong - LondonInternational
Paid for an upgrade then didn’t get it! We were offered an upgrade to Premium Economy Hong Kong to London Heathrow on Emirates app Pressed accept, paid, confirmation came through with only one portion of the flight upgraded. No help from online staff, just told to put in a complaint on our return. Have been told by one of their agent s answering our complaint that we should have checked that the offer was available on their website??? Ludicrous! Shocking customer service and a scam from what I thought was a reputable company, obviously not!

Not family friendly, avoid travel with kids
Seattle - DubaiInternational
We travel every year and while it is no bad company to fly with, it is not family friendly. You need to be very cautious when flying with small kids. While it is probably ok if you go with just one kid, we travel frequently with 1 adult and 3 kids. You need to be very careful especially if you booked a basic fare that has no seat selection. Imagine you booked several thousand tickets to Dubai and at check in you realize that your 2 year old will be seated separately from you on a 14 hour flight. I bet you will just abandon flying in this case. Like how 2 year olds, 8 y old and 10y olds can be separated from their parents on such a long flight. They have a theoretical policy that they will try to seat kids under 13 with adults but it is not guaranteed and in practice what are the chances that they will have 4 open seats at check in? Yes, close to zero and when I contacted them asking for complimentary seat selection sooner to avoid risk they said that the only option is to purchase the seats and indirectly confirmed that there is no guarantee that we will be able to seat with kids. Interesting that if you travel with infants on laps they will allow you to choose seats for free. If you travel with infants, infants are not getting any food during the flight. RIDICULOUS! it is 25% of adult fare and why not supply meals for infants. No normal or kids' meals, not even any other food! you literally will have to share your food with your 2yo kiddo on the 14h flight. Again, overall no bad airline but their kids and family policies are typical lowcoster, they would never try to accommodate you, they are very strict on their policies and dont really care about you, what a shame. Be prepared and you should be good.

Disappointing from Emirates that used to be amazing service
Mahebourg - LondonInternational
Terrible experience with Emirates recently. We booked business class at the last minute. Flight cancelled and spent the night in the airport. We were transferred to Dubai the next day to spend a night. ( we were told by a loval this is now a regular occurance for people you to spend money there) You are not covered via European rules of compensation so you get nothing. They gave us skyward points apparently as a goodwill gesture. Customer service is appalling. Sales staff are great in selling you a holiday but don't expect the customer service you used to get with Emirates. It's all about money now.
