Although the booking is through Flybe, the service is operated by Eastern Airways. The check in is operated by Flybe and as usual the staff are superb. The aircraft is a Jetstream 41 so do not expect to be allowed ANY hand luggage on board. There is no overhead storage. Whilst Eastern airways promote complimentary drinks, this amounts to a...

The flight was delayed and information was not forthcoming. It was a codeshare with Flybe, and when I flew Eastern to Stornaway, a cup,of tea and a biscuit was free, but this time they charged Flybe prices. The airline staff, when we eventually boarded were friendly, apologetic and efficient.

The flights were on time, with great information, efficient and informative staff. Despite poor weather the landings were really well handled. Would thoroughly recommend the particular flights but also the company for on time take off and before time landing each journey. Thanks for making my weekend away more relaxing and stress free.

Very easy way to get to Newcastle. Ticket price includes baggage in hold, refreshments on board on a small turboprop aircraft. There are no overhead lockers so larger hand luggage is put on a trolley to go into the hold (which is on the trolley again when you land and leave the aircraft. The gate varies but is usually 1...

Typically the usual flight delays from Aberdeen to Humberside this time 1 hour plus we now have the pleasure at stopping off at Durham on Tees. I might add that we still pay an extortionate rate for this flight inconvenience. Bring on the competition like Logan Air to get these burglars back in to check.

Eastern remain decent post FlyBe alliance. Still get a full lounge at Aberdeen though its a bit run down. Service on the flight is good and friendly as is the checkin and the small turboprops are ideal for the routes they do.

My flight was actually sold by British Airways, but operated by Eastern. I was lucky to be on their newest Embraer 170, which was very comfortable with lots of legroom. Given there were only 23 passengers on a plane that has a maximum capacity of 78, the service was great. I've also flown on the Saab 2000 they usually use...

This airline was a decent airline, just pricey. It is still pricey, but they are cutting back. Limited alcohol on board, smaller sweets, less things in the lounge at Aberdeen. Timin of flights is getting bad as well, have ended up catching the train a couple of times.
