Alaska is my airline of choice and I prefer flying this airline whenever possible. On a recent return flight from San Diego we had an unusually experience (for us). After a long week at Disneyland and San Diego (I know, not exactly worthy of your sympathy!) we arrived early for our flight and made our way to the gate prior...

Alaska has more leg room than some airlines, but we had booked this trip 6 months in advance and had aisle seats for both of us as my husband is quite tall and I detest middle seats, so we sit opposite other. When we printed out boarding passes the day before the flight, I noticed that we had different seats,...

I am really trying to like Alaska Airlines. They purchased my beloved Virgin America, and they are not a bad airline. The flight experience though - especially in first class - does just not measure up. Of course, there are the obvious hard product letdowns, Alaska fits 16 seats in their first class cabin compared to VA's 8...so leg room...

This is the first time we used Alaska Airlines and we were happy with them. We might fly with them again.

Flying on an airplane is not like it used to be so I've given this (one of only a few airlines I like to fly) four stars in hopes that someday the friendly skies will become competitive again and everyone will improve. That said, Alaska is a wonderful way to get to Hawaii, especially with direct flights to Kona from...

We have not flown with Alaska for a while and we did enjoy our recent flight with them from Victoria to Guadalajara, Mexico. We had to change planes in Seattle from Horizon Air which you always have to do on a flight from Victoria. Then we flew to San Jose and then on to Guadalajara. We upgraded to First Class...

We opted to fly Hawaiian on the way to Kauai because it’s like starting your vacation a little early. Or it used to be... we’ve done quite a lot of travel over the years, domestic and a lot of international on some borderline 3rd world carriers. Hawaiian was one of the worst flights in decades. I reviewed that flight before,...

On 2/5/18 my wife and I with 5 bags and a box were checking in for our flight. I asked an Alaska Airlines employee if I could borrow a cart. He said no, so I left, however, by the time that I got back to my wife he was behind me with the cart. He said that he couldn't let...

We decided to depart out of Bellingham, WA to avoid the SeaTac congestion and chaos at times. The much smaller airport was very nice with only 5 gates, the entire facility was spotless especially the restrooms. We opted for Premium class this flight to experience it and get a little more leg room, maybe better snacks etc. Departure was on...

About Alaska Airlines
The seventh-largest airline in the United States, Seattle-based Alaska Airlines (AS) flies to about 100 destinations in the United States, Mexico and Canada. As the name implies, it's a major carrier in the state of Alaska, flying to about 20 large and small destinations throughout the state. The airline has four hubs: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Portland International Airport (PDX), Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Most of its aircraft operate with two classes of service: First Class and Economy Class. Passengers flying in First Class have access to the airline's lounge, known as the Board Room, which has locations at about 20 airports.
