Alaska is a good airline to fly with. Decent service and food, nothing super special, but nothing to complain about either. Fun part was the tea bag they had in the toilet by the vent to deal with the smell. :-)

Check-in was easy. Since this was a short flight (5 hours), we didn't get too tired or bored. Selection for our food in flight was limited. More healthy choices please!!! Since everything you buy is about $10, why not just add this cost to our plane ticket? It sure would make things easier. The food carts take up too much...

Booked and paid for a first class seat. Checked in 75 mins before flight and was informed they'd mistakenly upgraded someone into my seat and would not rescind that upgrade, and that the main cabin was full so was put on standby. The guy at the gate was not in the least bit apologetic, told me to call customer centre...

So happy to have Alaska Airlines expanding to bring flights to local small airports. Just tried them from San Luis Obispo and it was the nicest flying experience I've had in decades. All smooth, actually felt treated like a human being instead of herded cattle. US Air so undermined my motivation to fly with their horrible dehumanizing service, so we...

We were delayed. The information provided by the on-ground CSR's was contradictory and wrong. The delay was blamed on ATC and too much traffic in the area. It was funny to stand and watch the CSR's inform us that the boarding would begin at a specific time, even though that time had passed. Once on board, we were held on...

As a preface, in my life time I have accumulated in excess of 1.5 million miles business and pleasure travel. Alaska Airlines is one of the better airlines flying. However, as with most airlines the overall experience is declining. The check-in procedure at PHX was efficient and professional. Clearing security was also quick. The equipment on this flight was a...

I have never been on an Alaska airlines flight or any flight for that matter that was that hot and uncomfortable as this one. The cabin temp was 80 degrees and no air movement. Flying from Seattle to Las Vegas was miserable. The crew was professional and courteous in every way. I will still fly with them.

Overall the flight was just fine - departed right on time and arrived almost 15 minutes early. Crew were professional and friendly. Plane was Embraer E-Jet 175 and was fully booked, seating approx.100; 4-abreast, 2x2. We did have to deal with some young children issues (loud speaking voices and some fussing/crying). Due the flight being only 2 hours and in...

On-time departure, early arrival, great service, and absolutely no problems. More or less a perfect flight!

Got to sea-tac airport over 4 hours early, figuring we would gave coffee and breakfast and not rush later. Tried to check in, was provided boarding pass but was redirected to kiosk to check in baggage first. Kiosk told me to stand in line to talk to rep. After standing in line another Alaska rep came round saying you cannot...

About Alaska Airlines
The seventh-largest airline in the United States, Seattle-based Alaska Airlines (AS) flies to about 100 destinations in the United States, Mexico and Canada. As the name implies, it's a major carrier in the state of Alaska, flying to about 20 large and small destinations throughout the state. The airline has four hubs: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Portland International Airport (PDX), Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Most of its aircraft operate with two classes of service: First Class and Economy Class. Passengers flying in First Class have access to the airline's lounge, known as the Board Room, which has locations at about 20 airports.
