As always Icelandair does it's best to be punctual. Unfortunately the fleet needs an overhaul, since overhead bins can't hold the bags that people carry in, and despite saying one carry on and one small item, staff let people carry two large carry one bags, which reduces space for the rest of us. Seatspace is too tight for tall people...

Iceland air is the worst air line I've ever flown on. No food on international service and very cramped seating. Unable to recline seat in my exit row seat. Overhead bins small doe an international carrier. The only good thing was the staff.

Very pleasant flight. We don't often fly economy but this time we did. The distance between the seats was very small. And sadly, the flight "attendants" really didn't do any "attending." They came through once about half way through the flight and that was that. The on-line entertainment was good. Nice choice of movies, etc.

On both legs- flying to Europe and returning I noticed a stark difference to which degree the crew provided service. On my flight from KEF to FRA I had to ask three times for a blanket - I was freezing cold and absolutely miserable. Between BOS and KEF (and the other way around) the crew members will come around offering...

This was my first time with this airline. I found the crew was very welcoming from the greeting as you boarded while offering you a bottle of delicious Icelandic water! Even tho you purchase in flight meals, I think it is a plus. Less is wasted as you are personally choosing what you prefer from a nice selection . My...

Outbounbd I was on SAGA-Class. Fantastic. Great seats with plenty of elbow- and legroom and very fine servcie. Homebound I was in economy, but there was still good legroom, and I am 1.94 cm tall, so that means a lot.

We were very pleased to find that even with our budget fare, Icelandair provided very good service....a free bottle of water as you boarded, free soft drinks, coffee or tea along the way, and no extra charge for entertainment (though purchase of earbuds required if you didn't bring your own) and no extra charge for the spacious exit rows. In...

Iceland - the mere name evokes an air of mystery and excitement. Well we left Boston on a dark snowy cold night and arrived in Reykjavik on a dark cold snowy night transferred from one plane to the next in the dark on a bus, hopped aboard the new flight and the sun came up over Scotland - briefly! I...
