cozy plane with around 30 capacity. Very Helpful staff at check in services to put us on an earlier flight (since we arrived airport more than 2 hours before) at a small extra cost. Flight time only 35-40 minutes. Nice coffee and chocolate offfered in the plane.

This is a good way to get quickly around Iceland. The AEY airport is very small and security processes are greatly streamlined. The plane flew low as it was a short flight and I enjoyed seeing the towns and country from the air.

ok the flight was good and the In flight service was good also. the problem here is that they lost my checked baggage and do not care at all. I have been here for a week and ice air has zero f**s given! if you do choose to fly with them.... learn from my mistake and don't check a bag

Flew from Reykjavik to Akureyri then on to the island of Grimsey. This was a great day trip. Our tour guide, Gagga, in Grimsey was wonderful.

Flights were on time, staff was courteous and accommodating. Bags of creative materials were supplied for the children, as well as a free meal.

Air Iceland fly a number of Bombarder 200s and 400s. The turboprop flight over Greenland icecap to Ilulissat is great fun - you get plenty of good views underwing, and landing as well is quite an experience coming down through clouds to a sharp halt on the short runway there. The airport is really personal and you have a great...

A wonderful way to fly over Iceland! Super friendly staff, good customer service, easy check-in. Also the coffee, the chocolate and a lovely guestbook on the plane were greatly appreciated.

What I liked: - New air crafts - Ok legroom - More or less on time schedule What I didn't like: - Fee for the luggage (even the 1st bag) - No free snacks at an oversees flight Overall the service was ok. Ticket prices were very reasonable. Good for the price O paid, but would not be my number...

Air Iceland, flying out of Pierre Elliot Trudeau airport in Montreal, Quebec, offers a wonderful flight experience of approxiimately 5 hours to Keflavik Airport in Reykjavik, Iceland. While economy is comfortable and passengers have to supply their own food, upgrading to Saga Class offers some of the usual creature comforts of Business Class at less cost. Air Iceland enourages travellers...

In a fabulous older 19 seater Twin Otter (complete with timber panelling bulkhead) we took off late for the 25 minute flight across to Grimsey. The view along the way was terrific, and with the flight not going above 300m ASL, we got to see marine life. As we approached Grimsey we could see the wind sock standing proudly horizontal...
