this is a perfect place to stay to enjoy the Irish way of life although not in a big village a ten minute walk and there's a lovely pub down the road that serves a lovely selection of food.. the peace and quiet is only interrupted by the locals ie animals. the loft was lovely clean and in a perfect setting. down the road is the main village of Gorey with many pubs and restaurants and shops.we were able to settle in even imposing on our hosts by arriving early as we had caught the over night ferry. not realizing it wouldn't take so long to get to Gorey it is about 2 hr drive from where we caught the ferry. however there is good transport links as we caught the train in Gorey to spend a day in Dublin. we were able to use this as a great base camp and a very comfortable one it was.
