To start, the property manager offered NO help as we arrived in Salerno by train. In fact, she gave us INCORRECT information that the water taxi/ferry services were "suspended". This was incorrect as it turned out, and compelled us to seek out a bus to Amalfi. We asked where we might get a bus for Amalfi? She had no idea - which for a property manager seemed very strange - as I'm sure most managers would help arriving renters with some direction on how to get from an "anchor" spot like the Salerno train station to their property. Quite the opposite, in fact, she was annoyed - and basically said don't call me until you're ON the bus to Amalfi - and then she would "dispatch" someone to pass us the key. Finally, we found an Amalfi-bound bus after waiting for over an hour. Once in Amalfi, we looked for the person who had the key. He was nowhere to be found.
