Duchy Townhouse Bath…



A group of eight of us stayed at the Duchy Townhouse in Bath.



PLUS POINTS



The house is well located, with a nicely laid out kitchen and comfortable beds and bedding.



NEGATIVES



Tired//worn carpets throughout the house

No bolt/security chain on the front door – bedrooms on the ground floor next to the front door, it didn’t feel safe

Dodgy lock on the downstairs toilet – one member of our party got locked in there

Seriously “under bathroomed”. One tiny shower-room at the top of the house to service three bedrooms where you had to leave the room to dry off, as no room to stand in the room, lousy water pressure. Two additional bathrooms. Insufficiently heated, bad plumbing, no water pressure. A house this size needs decent size bathrooms.

No toiletries in any of the bathrooms, not even a bar of soap. Upstairs dregs of old soap...

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
We will be requiring a deposit with your reservation. This deposit will act as a Damage Deposit as well as the guarantee of your arrival. Your Full balance will be due on your day of arrival, and which I can also debit from your card. Your Deposit will be refunded within 48 hours of your departure.
In the unhappy event that you must cancel after you have paid your deposit, we will make every effort to rebook the property. If the property is rebooked, your deposit will be returned, less the 50 Administration Fee.
