If you are not hiring a car there are plenty of taxis waiting outside to whisk you to your hotel.  Just make sure you agree a price before getting in.  As in many countries, there are standard tarrifs which they should stick to.

If you would prefer to book a taxi to meet you, there are many on-line firms to choose from here are a few.

Easyjet have recently launched a taxi transfer service for mallorca.

Even if you choose not to use them it is a good way of getting an idea of price.

Mallorca is a relatively big island so it might make sense for you to rent a car if you plan to see the sites like Deia, Palma, Valldemossa and Formentor.

Car Hire Companies

As with the taxis this is just a small selection of those that get the most mention on the forum, other companies are of course available!

Record Rent a car

Big multinationals like Hertz , Sixt , Europcar , Avis, Budget , etc.

AVOID OK Car Rental. They come up as the cheapest on various searches but they don't have a kiosk at the airport and offer a hopeless shuttle system to their office 10 minutes away. Once you are there they have you at their mercy - and pile on a heap of additional charges which you can't walk away from as you are stuck there. Suggest only use established rentals with offices at the airport itself. They may be more expensive up front, but will probably cost less in the long run.
