Camargue bullfights is Languedoc variation to the "Fiesta Brava" or traditional Spanish bullfighting. The Spanish influence is evident and the region adds a less bloodier element to a sport so popular on the other side of the Pyrennes.

To sweeten an event that can turn deadly if the bull is not in a good mood, men, called the razeteurs, will face the bull only to take a rosette pleced between the horns. It is a moment of conflict between the two contenders as the razeteur bend to remove the piece in a swift and gentle move.
