Located on Mackey Street, the Dundas Center for the Performing Arts is the place for plays, musicals, concerts and ballets. It is an exceptional way to have a feel of the local cultural and social state of affairs because it periodically features series of plays written and performed by local and Bahamian artists. - Great Bahamas Seafood and Heritage Festival. Located at Heritage Village, Arawak Cay, this October festival offer authentic Bahamian cuisine, traditional music and storytelling.
- One Bahamas Music and Heritage Festival. It is a three-day celebration of Bahamian culture in November. Schools, youth, sports, civic, church and community organizations take part in the festivities.
- New Year’s Parade. It features Junkanoo and takes place every January 1st on Bay Street. It starts at 1:00 am.
- Junkanoo June Heritage Festival. This festival features street dancing, craft demos, storytelling, native drinks and dishes and live performances by top Bahamian artists.
