Easily accessed by train or bus, and by car in summer, Jasper is surrounded by the jagged peaks of Jasper National Park. Home to an amazing abundance of wildlife, the area is an adventure sports lover's playground. The magnificent Columbia Icefield is to the south of the small town. Summer visitors hike, climb, golf and explore. In winter, skiing, snowboarding and dog sledding top the bill. If it's chilly, heat up at Miette Hot Springs in the National Park.
